Let's actually share GTA V media here
I was very confused seeing so many support posts in this forum. I thought I was in the wrong place to share this but it seems to fit. Sorry if not Anyway I wanna see what kind of GTA 5 content you appreciate on Youtube, outside of LSPDFR. Personally I love watching heavy edits of funny moments in GTA 5 and speedruns. So for that I can suggest any Radal's videos (you wont regret it) and DarkViper runs. I personally tried my own style, you can have a look (at the end of the post). But tbh, I feel like we dont have enough, considering the magnitude of this game! Seems like a shameless plug I know but I genuinely want to see what people enjoy about GTA 5 today beyond the same ol' GTA Online clickbaity content. I know the game is 7 years old but godamn mods like LSPDFR can revive it so well so I would assume the minimal insertion of creativity is enough to pull some air out of our nose at a slightly accelerated pace. Any way, I really do wanna see the kind of content you watch so feel free and compelled to share, even if it's from clickbaity Youtubers (no shaming, its still entertainment).

1998 SSPD Ford Crown Victoria [Non-ELS]
@darkblue @bevarnow @Sniper67 sorry to jump in guys but I believe I should clarify a few things since you are discussing some points of my guide. Just because something isn't optimal doesn't mean it should be changed. If model creators already put so much effort and even money into delivering something for free for you, the least you can do is optimize it on your end. Thats why I made that guide. So that the users have power over their textures load. But many still want high res textures. So modders will deliver. The guide WAS NOT intended for the model creators themselves. If they can develop a lightweight model, great. But i dont think its even something that should be worthy to point out in comments. Also the 20MB isnt a deal breaker. As long you dont have too many cars with +20MB, you should be fine with having a super good looking model out of your entire fleet.

Real Time Microphone/Police Loudspeaker Mod?
Im not putting any nails on coffins here since i dont know the full capacities of the game. But i would say nearly impossible since that would mean a direct streaming of your voice into the game. I dont think the engine allows such thing since all audio emitters in-game are operated by pre recorded audio files. Police Megaphone showcases that perfectly. You can put your own voice on a loudspeaker, but has to be pre recorded audio. Streaming is a whole different ball game.

LSPDFR Computer+ vs. Compulite
In short, Computer+ is very realistic but buggy as hell. Even when not actively using the computer you ll notice the FPS hits, if you dont crash first that is. The feeling is better but that fades away when the game becomes so painfully slow and non fluid. ComputeLite has a very simplified UI and is a little bit "too easy" to file reports. Again, not as realistic. However it lets the game run smoothly, with minimum to no performance hit and has an integrated court system, meaning you dont have to have LSPDFR+ as well, allowing you remove mods that overload your game. Just a quick FYI @gptiatg, Computer+ has that as well. In fact, it was the first to have that feature.

If LSPDFR or LCPDFR have their own pc game
Well I dont know if that would ever be possible for obvious reasons… A multi million dollar company took nearly 5 years to develop it. Now imagine an Indie producer. LSPDFR is successful because R* is successful since it piggybacks on GTA 5's data structure and models. So i think ill be Captain Obvious here and say that will be absolutely impossible since LSPDFR uses so much IP from R*. Oh and lets not forget RagePluginHook was the cataliser to its existence. But like @UnknownBastion said, it wouldnt be a good idea since money (which would be essential to keep such project alive) would drive many away. You and I would pay, but most of the fanbase wouldn't even invest 1 dollar, specially considering we wouldnt get such a quality product like GTA 5, no matter the talent of the LSPDFR team. Great ideas dont work without great execution. And a great execution means money and backing.

Stop the Ped vs Arrest Manager
Well thats not fair assuming Arrest Manager isnt being updated anymore. It isnt going to bother you since theres nothing to be done. Theres a reason why Albo stopped. He understood Bejoijo was giving far more compacted and necessary mods. Albo was a god and will be in our fictional Hall of Fame, but its time to understand most of his mods, if not all, are outdated. STP is superior in the most obvious way. Arrest manager has no more use in today's LSPDFR. Performance will take a hit for almost no gain. You can see that by the fact some mods like Grammar Police uses Bejoijo's backup system and not Albo's.

[Guide] How to get rid and avoid texture pop-ups (Disappearing assets)
I guess gameconfig can influence a lot. Im using the latest by Parks but i have no clue it has anything to do with my better performance. However you do have some CPU priority settings that, to me, caused little to none affect…. at least apparently. Like darkblue said, unless you have an unlocked vehicle and zmoddler, which is paid, you wont be able to optimize those models

Texture Loss Issues
Not if you use it to replace existing slots. Never had a single issue with the modding folder. It needs a ton of optimization so yes, I understand why people get lazy. They don't know how to do it properly. That optimization being mainly the archive count. Sure, if you mess with that one setting you can have multiple packs. But most don't do it.

Vespucci Beach Police Logo
[Reapeating Comment] Uh I like this. A great resource for uncreative people (like me) who like to do liveries but don't like creating logos. May I use this in the future?

Major Texture Loss
Yes, like @rgminto stated, for cars exceeding 25MB you'll have to use my method to avoid those textures loses. Your game is in overload. You can have the best PC in the world, unfortunely, with LSPDFR, that wont mean a lot. Even 32GB of RAM and GTX 1080 I can suffer those issues.

[Guide] How to get rid and avoid texture pop-ups (Disappearing assets)
Texture losses are indeed progressive. I assume it has to do with some cache clutter files. But that's on R* end. Sadly the only thing I see working is using the heap adjuster and adjust the packfile limiter in windows settings in case you have a lot of RAM. ____________________________________________________________________ @D4RKN06 You will definitely feel an improvement. But again, I have this issue and I have 32GB of RAM so... at some point, surplus wont do too much improvement.

[Guide] How to get rid and avoid texture pop-ups (Disappearing assets)
Yes. All textures weight in the total memory necessary to run your game in a certain build. Vehicles were never designed by R* to go over 25MB, both in textures and models. And most of the times, its not even skins that are the heaviest: weapon textures, MDT PCs and Dirt Textures are the Top 3 heaviest. GENERALLY, downscaling those alone will reduce size by 10% or more of the total .ytd size. If the car comes with a 10 and a 15MB model files, then you better know how to optimize models because even if you downscale the textures, the hard limit is being surpassed by the models themselves. So you still need to watch what kind of models you're downloading. But with these, texture-heavy vehicles still have a chance of being playable without having to crash the game world. @Cyan sorry for the delay but I appreciate the pin. I feel this can help a lot of people so thank you.

FPS Loss when i go on duty.
im not sure. that's uncharted territory for me. and theres no gta 5 gameconfig 1.0.1604.1 gameconfig with 2.5x traffic that I know of

FPS Loss when i go on duty.
I believe I used this one https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/enhanced-gameconfig-for-latest-high-end-pc and then change PedMemoryMultiplier and VehicleMemoryMultiplier fields to 1200

ELS not working
Either NVR, VisualV or both if applicable. It really depends on how your game reacts. But ive noticed that plain NVR satisfies all my needs, without jeopardizing performance

FPS Loss when i go on duty.
if its a severe loss, maybe. but those values are normal for all of us. Unfortunally you cant play LSPDFR as you would play vanilla. unless its possible with a super computer... and this means super price gameconfig can improve things. the issues happen when you force duty but that doesn't mean it cant be a main game issue. it just happens to trigger when put in big effort as LSPDFR does. I did have to optimize my own gameconfig and manage to get a smoother experience

ELS not working
affirmative. At the very least I have the three

Visualsettings.dat issue
Firstly, when you say you restored, what kind of restore? You restored the mods folder itself or use RPH to go back? Or some other method? Secondly you probably changing the wrong visualsettings. make sure you re changing the visualsettings.dat in update>update.rpf

ELS Enquiry regarding stage lighting
If it didn't come with an ELS folder its because most likely it isn't ELS compatible. Regardless, Ive seen some creators just forgetting about the XML files. For that, go to the ELS folder > "@UNUSED" and COPY the SAMPLE VCF file to the pack_default folder and rename it to whatever model you re using. It wont be optimized for that vehicle but should let you cycle through STGs

ELS not working.
make sure you have scripthookv and dinput8.dll in the game folder
-
Anybody can help me?
Let me guess. You have NaturalVision Remastered installed?
-
Please help the noob
For your cars install Albo's modding folder. That allows you to place all vehicles in one place in a easy way. Secondly an *ELS folder is for your lights. You'll have to install this for your emergency lights. IF you saw that folder then its because you download an ELS model. Those require a plugin that allows you to control lights and siren. Install this for that effect: https://www.lcpdfr.com/files/file/13865-emergency-lighting-system/

POLICE CARS EMERGENCY LIGHTS
make sure you: -have an updated scripthookv -inserted the ELS xmls in the pack_default

ELS not working
I believe that's the one. I am not aware of what could cause that issue
