RagePluginHook Problems

Hi so while I wait for Scripthook to update (if it ever will), I'm trying to revert my game version to the previous one .1032 if I am not mistake. However when I updated RagePluginHook to .54 it gave me a prompt saying they need to redo my backup files to a new format to make it eaiser in the future to revert.

 

So thankfully it successfully reverted but now when I open Ragehook .52, is immediately opens then closes.

 

The only time it loads is when I use .54 but as we all know Scripthook isn't updated and so it doesn't work. 

 

How do I get .52 to work?

Try completely reinstalling the old version of Rage by moving the clean RageHook files to your GTA folder.

I installed my game after the latest GTA 5 update was released. This is how I got my game to work on the old RPH_0_52_1061_10387_ALPHA.

 

Spoiler

 

1. Download the gamebackups.rph in the description of this video

 

 

 

2. Delete all RAGEPluginHook files in your GTA 5 directory

 

3. Drop gamebackups.rph into your directory

 

4. Install RAGEPluginHook_0_52_1061_10387_ALPHA (if you don't have this version PM me and i will give you it considering it's no longer downloadable)

 

5 Then just setup RAGEPluginHook like usual and it will ask you to revert into this gamebackup you just installed.

 

(You can just simply replace all RAGEPluginHook_0_52_1061_10387_ALPHA files with the version you already have installed however i'm not sure if it causes any issues so just to be on the safe side I would do all the steps in correct order like noted above)

 

6. Install the latest version of ScriptHookV available which is the one that was released on april 9th.

I just tried the same all though when I launch ragepluginhook it says Starting game and then it says Launcher error. Code: 115 The game was not launched via Steam client

 

I am NOT using a crack, I have bought the game via Steam. No idea why it's giving me that error.

 

Any suggestions?

I mean I have the .52 download but if I need a really "clean" and "new" version could you provide a link to it because you can no longer download it from the site

@savageness Your GTA 5 Directory must be named ''Grand Theft Auto V'' without apostrophes. With the directory named anything else it won't work. If it still don't work and it says the same thing i'm really not sure why that's happening. It worked for me so i can't really help you out sorry :/
