Mods! Before you remove this, i’m on mobile and couldn’t open the community tab to see if there was a more relevant section for this post! im looking for help identifying the car pack I used back in my 0.3 days. (Took a hiatus, looking to return to former glory.) I can’t for the life of me remember the name of the pack but I’ll provide a pic of the charger. I remember the title mentioning it was a “lore friendly” pack or something along those lines. if anyone can help, I’d love you forever! also! If anyone can point me towards car packs I can install with LML without having to dig through openIV, that would be stellar. thanks ya’ll!

rename your mods folder to mods2 or something.. then try to launch it. If the game boots up then it's something you have in OpenIV that is the problem.

I've looked everywhere before posting. But the default computer for LSPDFR is bound to the X button on my controller while in a vehicle.. I wouldn't mind this if I didn't use Computer+ instead.. It causes problems in situations where I need to ready my pistol in the menu before exiting my vehicle etc.. Not only that, it's also a pain to use. Is there any way to unbind this from the controller or disable the default computer?

You were checking the status of a vehicle, correct? To me it looks as if it had an explosion because it could not fetch a proper picture of the car model in time. Computer+ has an extra download link on its page that adds car models and ped images.. Try reinstalling those images to see if it solves the problem. OR you can remove computer+ entirely & then not bother adding the bonus ped/vehicle images after since they only cause you problems. This happens to me occasionally. Which is why I stop opening computer+ if im 1hr or so into my patrol... A way around it is every once in a while do an "unload all plugins" and then"cleanworld" and start up all plugins from scratch to clear any errors out that the game may be piling up in the background.

Inside the NaturalVision Remastered folder you downloaded there is an .oiv file called "Original Files" go to the package installer in OpenIV and run that to remove NVR.

that is odd... Try renaming the entire NVR_Emissive folder for the time being and see if that solves your problem. Otherwise you may have a duplicate NVR_Emissive in your game folder that is overwriting it

try setting your plugin timeout threshold to 50000. Also you can try forcing GTA to open in windowed mode in the RPH settings. Also, you should uncheck everything but LSPDFR to load on startup, that should cut down on the amount of crashes you get in the first loading screen.

it's okay, everyone has to start somewhere, right? try this: Go to \mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\NVR_emissive\dlc.rpf\x64\textures.rpf find the names of the vehicles that look weird. Usually its Sheriff1, Ruiner, Futo and Penumbra that go all weird.

you hit the "search all directories" button while inside your mods folder? If you have NVR installed there should be an emissive folder in your DLC packs

there is no need to put your custom cars into separate patchdays (unless you want to save a bit of memory) try putting all of your police cars into patchday14ng and make sure to rename them police, police2, etc etc

OpenIV > Search NVR_emissives. Inside that folder you can delete (Or just rename) the files that belong to the vehicles that are having the problem. Restart the game and it should be fine.

Yeah, I think I'll put LSPDFR on the back burner for a few days and pledge allegiance to what ever god gives me a stable game again. Yeah, i think this is a case of mistaken identity.
