I'm not a big computer guy, so I need some help as to what gaming laptop I should get. Is there any good runs that are under $500? I am mainly just interested in running Grand Theft Auto V and a few other games.

Under 500? Probably not going to happen for a gaming laptop with the ability to run GTAV (at least well enough for LSPDFR). I would save some more and then you may have a few solid choices. I would look into desktop PCs but even then they'll (most likely) be more than 500.

I ditto that, It will be hard especially for a laptop in that price range. A desktop maybe.

You'd probably be looking at a minimum of $800.00

 

Yeah, gaming laptop's usually range from $800-$1000 while you could probably get a decent desktop at less than that. Not to mention the fact that gaming laptops overall are shitty, and I would highly advise you don't waste your money on one.

At these prices, a desktop will be a problem too, including a good IPS display. However, you'll be able to add a more serious GPU later (usually the CPU will be good for a long time)

 

Save up.
