Using a controller?

Featured Replies

I've barely started playing lspdfr 2 weeks ago and pc and I've been wanting to use my Xbox one controller but can't get it to connect Bluetooth wise. I had a hdmi cord that I plugged into my computer and that still didn't seem to work. My only other option is the Xbox one Bluetooth adapter that plugs into the computer. How many people play lspdfr with a controller? Is it easy to configure it with all the plugins? Anyone else have this problem? I mostly hate how in my cars I press left and right on the keyboard and I can't get the car to go straight and I swerve up and down the street so I'd like to use the analog of a controller.

Why are you trying to connect it via a HDMI cable? That's not how HDMI cables work...

You'll either need the USB cable for it or you'll have to buy the USB dongle. LSPDFR and all the plugins support an XBOX controller so you shouldn't have any issues with it.

lol I meant USB idk why I said HDMI.

I use an Xbox 360 controller, and it worked for Windows 7. I at first started using a corded one which I am sure you can buy cheap. I then purchased a wireless one that was compatible with the computer, but it was a bit pricey.

Well I have windows 10 and I'm trying to use the Xbox one controller first I tried it wirelessly through Bluetooth my computer discovered it and I clicked to pair and it just wouldn't pair. Then I used the USB cord that plugs into the controller and still couldn't get it to work that way. I've looked at as many YouTube videos as I could but still nothing. So now I'm gonna try the Xbox wireless PC adapter and hopefully that'll work.

the playstation 4 controller is also compatible with windows 10. that is the controller I play with. in order to get it to work you have to download a program called ds4windows. http://ds4windows.com/ when you install the program, go to settings and click hide ds4 controller. that will make your computer think its an xbox controller. I use it with no problems on lspdfr.
