Crazy behaviour on traffic stops

Featured Replies

G'day all,

For some time the AI has been going nuts during a traffic stop. I signal them to pull over, and instead of calmly finding a spot, they'll hit the gas and often go plowing into a building, other cars etc. If they don't, they quite often pull over normally and when I hit the horn to find a better position to stop, they'll go nuts.

I have the latest version of LSPDFR and RPH.

The other issue (less important), is when I'm running Code 3 traffic in the opposite direction usually pulls a U-Turn in front of me.

Any help would be kindly appreciated.

Cheers,

Joe.

I've had this issue as well lately. On multiple traffic stops to be exact. You bloop them, light 'em up, and BAM! They hit a tree and you end up having to re-bloop them again to stop them, correct? I've heard a lot of these constant issues are related to rage plugin hook and script V not working properly with each other. Could be wrong though.

That happens when you sound the siren for the pullover right? Happens the same to me. Pretty sure it has to do with ELS controls overlay. Whem you sound the airhorn in mid traffic, sometime they will go full throttle on you.

It can also be a TrafficPolicer problem due to the mimick thing. You ll notice that, once you re NOT performing a stop, if you spam the Q it will somehow change ELS Stage. I really dont know for sure why this happens but I thinks theres a weird relation between them two.

If anyone has a solution, tag me on the reply please.

Thanks for the feedback fellas, glad it is not just me. If it is indeed ELS, hopefully it is patched soon. Either way it is an awesome mod.

This is LSPDFR+ causing this. put it in today an first stop they went crazy off road in to a wall...I was like whaaaa

I am using LSPDFR+ and nothing like this is happening to me.

I finally figured it out guys. And no its not LSPDFR+ as @1Fugitive stated. Although it may conflict with the problem I found.

So I was tweaking with the ELS settings and found the solution. Open the ELS.ini file in your Grand Theft Auto V directory (use Notepad or anything alike) and go to the line "ElsTrafCtrlOn" inside the GENERAL section. You'll find set as true. Disable it by replacing that with false.

It probably disables a certain feature but when I tested it out, no feature was removed whatsoever. The traffic was yelding on Stage 3 like it should, I can perform traffic stops normally, when I press Shift while on pursuit my officer uses the megaphone of the vehicle to command the suspect to pullover as it is intended... everything is the same except for the fact that suspect vehicles are not stepping on the gas or crashing into a pole anymore when I change tones or use the airhorn. For me, it fixed my used.

Also yes, I tested it out with a controller as well. So...
Controller aproved!

Reply me if you have fixed it or found any further issue.
