Bug with Add blocker alerthttp://www.lcpdfr.com/forums/topic/68028-bug-with-add-blocker-alert/

I'm not sure if this is a Chrome thing or a site thing but recently I've notice that randomly I get the message to allow adds on the site. As you can see in the Image I do have adds and I do have LCPDFR.com white listed. So anyone else having this bug? I know its not major but its strange.

I'm getting it aswell. Even though I'm 100% percent certain I'm not using an adblocker.

I actually have had this happen to me using Firefox, seems like maybe only on the initial load - no screenshot just thought I'd chime in.

Haven't noticed this particular issue (I don't have LCPDFR.com whitelisted because unless you're planning on clicking the links this is pointless). I have noticed whoever manages the site seems to be pretty determined to circumvent adblockers, as I keep randomly getting the ad spaces appearing (thankfully adblocker does its job well, so I dont have to deal with the ads, just a messy website with pointless whitespace). Definitely an LCPDFR.com issue, as none of the other sites I frequent have had anything like this happen.

I was getting this issue but the last few days haven't had any problems. My adblocker is disabled for the site but since I refuse to have flash installed it was incorrectly stating I was blocking ads.

Cheers for the feedback, I'll try and make it more precise when we get a moment. I'll update this thread when we have an update.

We don't block any content to users using adblock. All that we wish to convey is that if everyone blocked ads, we wouldn't have the infrastructure in place to serve 40Tb+ of content every month and there would be no website. As much as I feel users have the right to block ads, I feel like we have the right to convey a message to users blocking ads.
