Indeed, speaking of opinions, nobody gets banned for sharing them provided that they do so in a respectful manner.  Myself and my team do what we do simply out of love for our projects, both LCPDFR and LSPDFR, and that's the reason that we're here.  I've dedicated years of my life to doing something that I love and I've been lucky enough to share this with hundreds of thousands of other people too.  Given that we put so much effort into these projects and this community, I expect that in return, we are at least treated with a basic level of respect.  Nobody needs to agree with the decisions that we take, but the disrespect that people have been displaying towards myself and my team recently is quite frankly ridiculous.  The backlash that we've received from people regarding our actions in closing this thread is quite simply stupid, and it's honestly quite painful to see some of the things that people have done since.  Nonetheless, we've reopened the thread, removed the spam and are attempting to give everyone a chance to return to normality.  As you've said, despite all of the things that have happened here, no warning points have been issued.

The only circumstance in which we punish people for giving their opinion is if they fail to afford us the basic respect that is expected of every member and member of staff here.  If you'd like to see an example, then here you go:

It would honestly be a lot easier for us to not enforce any rules at all - but then we wouldn't have a community which is enjoyed by so many people.  Nobody is saying that you can't enjoy yourselves in this thread, we want you to, we're just saying that you can't do it at the expense of others, which is clearly what happens when the memes and insults start to flow.  People come here for the great content that our members have to offer, not to look at marker pens in a blender and certainly not to have cancer wished upon them.  This topic, which honestly was a fantastic example of what our community is about, quickly turned into exactly the opposite.  Now that we've cleaned it up, I hope that it can go back to what it once was.

Finding it hard to gauge whether you're talking about me with the lack of respect, maybe it's just because it's in the same reply to me but talking to everybody. I've tried my hardest to show more than a basic level of respect, and respect the decision the team made to clean up the thread, and I'm not half against it, things were real hectic for the last ~10 pages. You had me asking for help, getting frustrated with the game for like 5 pages, and then you had some beef the last few pages, including the nasty cancer comments, back and forth bickering etc.

That Bronyrapper thing.. I've really got nothing to say, we all know that's too far. Guess we won't be seeing him around, a shame he had to go and do that because I think he had some sweet projects coming up.

Anyway, I wouldn't like this conversation to go on forever back and forth, especially if we're both for the most part agreeing.. I'm not against rules, I'm not against the cleaning of the thread, I've brushed it off, was salty at first like anyone who gets sanctioned but brushed it off. I just wanted to clear up that some of the team seem to think this should be 100% dedicated to mods, nothing more nothing less and shouldn't be the slightest bit derailed, but in fact I intended for this thread to bring everyone together and have about three quarters dedicated to on topic discussion, and a quarter of real talk.  If you've got an extra bone to pick with myself for some reason I guess you can PM me, but going back.. 9/10 things were over the line, but I will say the beauty of the marker pens was that it was funny because it just didn't belong here, lmfao.

I didn't want this kind of relationship between the G17 team and this thread, having the thread locked and the founder grill us (not that we all didn't need a kick up the arse, I guess). I'm hoping down the track when it settles down to what it started as we can regularly have mods and you taking part in the conversation if they want to, instead of having to come here and talk about experiencing disrespect and sanctioning the the thread.

No, I was just generally speaking.  If everyone behaved like you, we wouldn't have any problems at all.  You're well within your rights to be frustrated because your thread was closed, but you were mature enough to not start attacking our staff team because of it, unlike others, which is a credit to yourself.

Off topic here, can anyone recommend a good free or cheaper substitute for Photoshop and Adobe Premier? Or any place selling their CS6 stock cheap now that CC is out? (CS6 was my favourite, I don't like CC or I'd pay the monthly fee.)
Also need a recommendation for ISO mounting software. When I had the Lenovo it came with this amazing one, power something or other, I wish I could remember the name, it was the best and easiest ever.  Found it - Power2go by Cyberlink, has a free version.

I use GIMP, it's not as fancy as some but it does what I need and it's free. Heaps of tutorials around to explain how it works

Hey man we all get banned from GPM eventually. GPM started going to shit when they first banned @Sam, then they but the final nail in their own coffin when they Voodoo and bunch of others. They finished their purge of decent modelers when they banned me a few months back.

Alright so how about we just stop talking about this completely, the admins and the actual owner of LSPDFR himself have come in and explained the issues very politely to us and they have been more then fair to us. Yet they have to keep repeating themselves because people just do not get it, its not rocket science, read the rules, don't break them, don't argue. Easy as. If you have trouble processing or understanding the simply instructions the admins are giving then maybe LSPDFR is not for you. Lets just get back to making bad ass models. Not everyone has to voice their opinions on the rules and instructions of this thread, they are not going to change them, build a bridge a move on

Had my heart set on a D40 Navara but not after speaking to some ex-owners.. Riddled with expensive issues in the diesel's unfortunately.
