Hey guys. I know it's been a long awaited model for years now. But we are one step closer to reaching our goal and finally having a holden ute divisional van in GTA 5.
Humster has quoted us $150USD, and all we need is for some people to generously chip in a few bucks to help us reach our goal. Anything is helpful!

You guys can expect a fully reworked skin like the FGX one on the VFSS when Moose releases it, along with some updated GD textures!

Suggesting edits ^ Most of those lines taken from the old thread refer to how I had it set up with having the list of mods there on the front page, but I don't think that's relevant here (unless you were bothered to do that, but I'm not sure how many people really even used it). Stuff in green is stuff that you can add if you like, stuff crossed out is mostly irrelevant lines that you can delete if you like.

I know there were a couple other projects trying to bring more Aussie textures, but I got impatient and decided to cook up my own. Currently replaces the trucks/trailers with Australian brands, and replaces all regulatory and most advisory street signs. Will be working on converting more textures as time permits. DL available here: https://www.darkmyre.net/files/file/60-ozgta/

(Some of the speed signs don't make sense - I've converted the existing signs to their equivalent km/h signs, sadly the Rockstar level designers seem to have placed the wrong sign props at several spots around the map. Nothing that can be done about this unfortunately)

Welcome to the second Australian LSPDFR Discussion thread, I'm too lazy to write anything about it so I'm going to copy and paste what PgUp wrote on the first one:

This thread is a general discussion thread for Australian LSPDFR players and LSPDFR Australia fans
I think this post will be ever-evolving and an ever-useful hub for us Aussie gamers looking to make our game feel right at home. Basically all this thread is, a place for content creators to come together into one topic and post about their projects related to Australian themed LSPDFR gaming, and for users to actively chat on-topic about said modification projects, make suggestions, admire, etc..
Use the rest of this thread to discuss, suggest, or update on anything.
    Cheers.

Unfortunately, in-case you're new to this thread, you'll notice that this is the second Australian Discussion Thread. This is because the original, very successful thread was shut down due to the large amounts of bickering, spamming and general all-round nonsense that we were warned about many times. While I'm sure there are some of you who disagreed with the way this was handled by the admins, it's just the way life is and everybody has to get used to it. Thankfully, after much discussion with several admins, we have been given the opportunity to have another thread where we can discuss, share and show of various things relating to Australian Modding.

We have to keep this civil however. We still follow the same rules as the rest of lcpdfr.com. If anybody has a problem with somebody, please please please keep this to private messages or some other messaging service. If you feel like mucking around or something, use something like the LSPDFR Australia discord or the Darkmyre Gaming discord, which are both very fun and friendly places to be.
For easy access here is the lcpdfr.com guidelines if you would like you brush up on your reading

All that said, everybody feel free to contribute something positive, share this link around so everybody knows where to find us, and above all have fun!

After a Management/Staff desision a new topic regarding Australian LSPDFR has been created. This is strictly for LSPDFR Australia modding and not for off-topic/general discussion about life.

You can find the new topic here

Welcome to the divvy van project. My plan B for making a Holden VF divvy van that so many of us love. Hopefully this will be successful because plan C is crowdfunding...
The aim of this is simple, I am giving you a chance to create your best recreation of the divvy pod. Anyone is welcome to give it a go and submit their attempts.

    Requirements:
To create a detailed exterior & interior divvy pod
You are not required to make any liveries, light equipment or gear
You are not required to convert your model into Grand Theft Auto V, that would be my job

    Terms & Conditions:
You cannot use stolen or ripped parts off any model
Anything you submit I may modify as I see fit (If you make something and you're not totally happy with it, send it anyway and I might be able to fix it up)

    Notes:
I may not use anything that you submit
    I have a high standard
You will not get an unlocked copy of the model at any stage, only what you submit
I require the model to be in a .obj format
You probably want to privately send me your attempt, to save anyone else stealing your work

Benefits to you, if your model is used:
    You will be appropriately credited
You can be given updates on where the model is in the development process
You will be able to beta test/receive and early release of the model
You get to practice and build on your 3d modelling skills

    Things you will need:
The 3d model of the back end of the ute
    http://www.mediafire.com/file/eig7atboogcezqi/The+Divvy+Van+Project.rar
This is so you can accurately build it straight onto the ute, which creates a more accurate result and saves time

I'm particular and only use my own skins =\ dunno why, it's just a weird quirk. Even if mine aren't as good I'll use them over others. >_>
Same with vehicles but that's more cause I use my own retarded brand of callsigns - regardless of the state, it'll have a WAPol callsign - nostalgia from my days in the job over there, I guess.

Maybe you got lucky... or I got unlucky - I suppose you only ever hear the bad stories. =p
