I think LSPDFR/LCPDFR should have a weapons slot because of the community growing day by day and the need for more police weapons. The only website that has a weapons slot is GTA 5 MODS. We already have audio for weapons and police cars, scripts then why don't we add in Weapons. There are a lot of members in the LSPDFR community that know how to make super realistic weapons so should we give them a chance? What do you guys think should the LSPDFR website creators add a Weapons Slot? 

I dont think we should, most of the content posted here is emergency-related, and anything else just gets put in the misc section. I haven't seen a single gun mod on this site either, so they should just stay on gta5-mods.com

This is not true at all. We aim to be the largest modding site for the GTA series. Of course, the most prominent mods on our site is of course policing related, but other mods are most welcome on the site.

If we see a certain influx of weapon mods, it may be reconsidered.

I don't exactly think It should be added as a new section, but possible a sub-section under "Character" mods.

In my opinion if it was added, only emergency related weapons and things should be added.

Thats what I am saying emergency weapons that the police use. Like a baton with low damage because the in game baton just kills. A realistic taser. A glock 18 for police. M4A1 the list goes on.

Yeah, it could be a good addition. It just depends if It's a addition that is worth the work put in for the output out.

I mean lets say if LSPDFR never had a vehicle menu would we ever get amazing vehicles? Would we ever see any of the amazing creations by @Bxbugs123 or lets say if we never had a scripts menu would we ever use any of the amazing mods by @Albo1125? Albo and Bxbugs what do you guys think should we add a gun slot to LSPDFR?

I personally agree with @ineseri - there aren't enough weapon files on the site at the moment to warrant an entirely unique section. As of now, I think they should be added under Misc - and as Ineseri said, once there are a sufficient number of weapon submissions I'm sure a unique Weapons section would be considered.

I don't get why you say that only emergency-type files are warranted. There are plenty of modifications on this site that are not related to public services.

If weapon converters/modelers decide to put them up on this site, I'm sure they'll do something to separate it from the rest.

The big thing is that the community will add weapons but we need someone to teach us. Its just like that quote. "Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day, Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime."
