With Battlefield Hardline, I had sworn that I wouldn't preorder anything from EA ever again. So much for that.

JackFrags ran a poll in which the majority of people voted for World War II while World War I was in last place. It's not Jack's fault. Granted I'd much prefer World War II, but I'll take World War I

......And in other news, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare trailer has reached 1.3 million dislikes on YouTube. It's amazing, it seems to get about 30 dislikes every second. Just refresh the page constantly and look at the dislikes.

According to Forbes, the Battlefield 1 trailer is now the most liked trailer out of anything in YouTube's history and within the 250 most liked videos of all time, meanwhile the Call of Duty trailer is the most disliked video game video and most disliked trailer of all time.

Maybe Activision and Infinity Ward should take a hint, eh?

I'm pretty sure he made in terms of mechanics, and not in terms of direct, actual gameplay.

There was speculation and rumor that Infinite Warfare was a 'canned' project, as in the developers didn't want to make another futuristic title - but true to Activisions scum and villainy it was apparently forced to tie in with the other futuristic CoD's. Rumor has it the next CoD developed by Infinity Ward was supposed to just be a Call of Duty 4 (maybe Modern warfare 2) remake. They weren't even planning on doing a Call of Duty title this year and just waiting for the 10th anniversary year for CoD4 next year, then recreating their respective titles. Soon after this rumor and speculation came to fruition, the rumor seemingly got reinforced by the fact that Infinity Ward is releasing a remastered CoD4, for a price. The reasons to the CoD4 attachment to Infinite Warfare? Because Infinity Ward apparently knew the fanbase wanted nothing to do with futuristic garbage anymore, so they tacked on CoD4 to try and save the title that seemed to never wanted to be built from the get-go.

In other words, the attachment of CoD4 is a slimy tack-on to get you to buy their higher tiered editions to get the game you actually want, for a game you never wanted at all. Whether this is true or not remains to be seen, but I wouldn't put it past Activision to try this.....especially since the original developers of CoD4 is no longer with Infinity Ward. I'm not really sure who is honest anymore with how many different developers are under Activisions belt, more over working on Call of Duty alone. They all know Call of Duty is a huge money maker, so it's a no brainer business tactic to push out the same over and over, regardless of quality or player base input.

So then based on this, I guess it's up to the Call of Duty fan base. Will they give in and pay the extra $$$ for a game that they don't want, just to have the game that they do want attached? Or will they refuse to purchase the game and send Activision a message?

Probably the former of the two, Call of Duty has such a huge sheep like following that regardless of content, quality or repetitiveness, the game(s) always sell. The question that begs to be answered as well is whether or not said sheep like cult following is buying it for the Infinite Warfare game itself, or the CoD4 tacked on remaster. That said, the trailer for infinite warfare has an exorbitant amount of dislikes to likes, alternatively Battlefield 1 is the opposite.....this alone should send Activision a message, but again we all know what Activision is like.

I adore CoD4, not so much Modern Warfare 2, but CoD4 is what made the entire franchise popular for good reason too.....however I refuse to pay extra for a game I want, just because it's locked behind a paywall to get people to buy a product no one wants. Regardless of how anyone slices it, the money grab and scheme to put CoD4 remastered behind a game no one wants is a slimy business practice and I would wager a good fraction of the Infinite Warfare trailer dislikes is because of said slimy business practice.

People should of gathered that when the original developers for CoD4 and MW2 left Infinity Ward and Activision that there was something painfully clear going on behind the scenes with Activisions business "goals" or rather lack thereof. That should of put a halt on the sales of future Call of Duties, but then again people liked Treyarch's content just the same, so Activision was in a win-win scenario.

I'm glad they went with WW1. I think it is rather under-represented. Even if it takes a Hollywood approach to history.

And to steal from a YouTube comment (that was probably already stolen): It's called "Battlefield 1" because Battlefield won.
