This is a suggestion as well as a question, I'd really like to patrol the streets of Los Santos as an undercover traffic officer, much like they have here in Toronto. In LSPD:FR you can only perform traffic stops in police vehicles, I'm wondering if there's a way to implement an undercover mode where you can use any vehicle and use the COP HORN as the siren to signal a traffic stop, or a mod that would stick your arm out the window and put a cherry (single police light bulb) on the roof of the vehicle! That would be awesome!!!

 

Or does this mod exist already? I'd really like to use ANY car to perform a traffic stop... Please let me know if this is possible!!!

why not just use an unmarked car?

Not all cars I'd like to use have an unmarked version, and it could be good for role playing undercover so you could get any vehicle quickly and use it as an undercover vehicle...

Any luck with this yet? I'm sure there has to be a mod or script that will allow you to jump in any car, and then perform a traffic stop...

Well if it is such a necessary thing you could just change the name of the car to the name of a cop car. Replacing it and using it like that.

I understand your desire to have an un-marked Police car. The base un marked units without push bars are legit enough, But I do like your idea of popping a cherry on the roof for pursuit reason's.  Because LSPDFR allows you to "Force Duty" you are better off, using a base pedestrian to do police work in an un marked unit.  just my thoughts.

In vehicles.Meta, add the following between the <flags> brackets of the vehicle you want: FLAG_LAW_ENFORCEMENT

in vehicles.meta just change the <audioNameHash> value of the vehicle to POLICE, it will give you the cop horn and siren functions
But you need vehicles.meta lines for the car and you need to do each car individually.

Alternatively, wait out for the next RPH update which will let you use sirens on any vehicle in the game without editing the vehicle data files.
