I'd just like to give everybody a heads up: I'm going on vacation for the next 3 weeks. During this time I will not have reliable internet access, and will have 0 access to my computer. I'm heading down to South America for some trekking:

Hopefully the youtubers will be able to keep you guys entertained in the meantime with some more videos! What this means though is aside from not posting any development updates, I also won't be able to process any new members of the beta program while I am gone. I will process any new beta participants who sign up by 8 PM Pacific Time on Tuesday, Feb 21st. Anybody who signs up after that point I will process when I return from my trip. 

 

Many thanks to everybody who has donated, helped with the beta, shared videos, and followed along to provide encouragement! I'm definitely excited to get a little break and get away from the computers for a bit, but will also be eager to get back into it as soon as I return.

For this callout pack, other than being able to dive in and save or arrest people, can you play the role of piloting the helicopters and boats? That seems pretty interesting. Also can you make a callout pack specifically for air units so for example air units can watch a pursuit, or whatever their role is, that would be pretty cool that  after we conquer the land, we conquer the sea and finally we conquer the air.

Absolutely, you can pilot the aircraft or boats (boat AI piloting may be INC soon, it's not yet there though), or, you can let the AI do it. It's all up to you.

Hey! First off, I'm very excited about this mod and have been hoping for something like this, I have a few questions though.

 

1) What pledge level gives access to the mod straight away? 20USD 1-time

2) Is there anyone else that fulfills the pledge while PNW is out of country?

 

Also, suggestions:

Maritime Security? Piracy, Drug interdiction, Immigration control, Smuggling, Terrorism (USS Cole type situation)? "Suspicious vessel at sea", "Vessel doesn't respond to call", "Vessel running dark". Think it'd be cool to have a callout where using the phrase "This is the USCG, unidentified vessel prepare to be boarded!" is relevant, climbing onto a ship in the pitch dark with your lights flashing, the deck illuminated by a Jayhawk flying overhead, cutters boxing in the shipStuff like that.

 

Large vessels? Aid to navigation. Dead in the water. Out of fuel. Engine problems. Power failure. Escort mission as well as towing the large vessels back to port so they can be assisted. The failures and dead in the water can be tied with "Vessel not responding", but could also happen suddenly when out on patrol. For example, you're patrolling the shores West of Zancudo when you suddenly see a flare shoot up into the sky. You call back to base and report that you just saw a flare and that you're going to investigate. Only to discover a massive ship with 10+ of its crewmembers standing on the deck waving in the pitch black rainy night. "Our engines have stalled! Please help us!". I'd personally love to tow a massive cargo ship back to Los Santos with my cutter and drop it off. Hearing it blow its horn as you head back out into the night.

Added a suggestion, question solved. Word.

I actually didn't want to spent to much time on this before working on the '45, but somehow... Remodelled the flight deck (markings are now actual meshes, so I can use tileable deck texture for a higher quality look) and started modelling the hangars :x Also made a handling that works fairly good (praise the lord!).

The overall model will be enhanced (proper bridge model with see-through windows, etc), but I think I'll save this for later when the other vehicles are finished.

The $20 USD one-time donation gets you access, but unfortunately I can't grant access to anything until I return from my trip, sorry! I'll process all donations right away when I get home. 

 

As for your suggestions, I only have internet on my phone for a brief moment here but I'll just say that I think you'll be quite pleased with what the mod has to offer!

Hey guys , a little question here... The cutter I am working on is based on a Legend class vessel, but there will bei some changes to it. For one, I don't have to take care of accuracy all that much and secondly , a fictional (Based on real life) vessel fits the GTA universe ;) 

 

Anyway , currently it's marked as USCGC Bertholf , but I thought that a fictional name , perhaps referencing someone or something within the GTA Universe  (eg: USCGC Carl Johnson) might be fitting . If anyone has some ideas , I'd gladly hear about them!

whats the name of the ship that gets destroyed in the one mission at the port? theres an idea  USS KIKAZZ is always funny :)

lspdfr plugin or GTA V crashed? find your Rage log in your gta folder, usually found after ragepluginhook.exe and open it, hit Ctrl a, open pastebin.com, select new paste, hit Ctrl v, get the link after you pasted it and supply that with your issue in the specific mod topic, it helps the developer diagnose the problem you may have.

I think it was Bulker or something... Also thought of the USS Numnutz in GTA San Andreas, but... hm. Not sure yet :D

 

Also now modelled interior parts including bridge and rear for the landing pad. Also added details to the top of the outer hangar wall, as well as windshield wipers for the front windows.
