What custom lightbar is this?

Featured Replies

My towns police department uses a custom Code 3 lightbar and I can't find out what model or type it is. Does anybody know? I think is pretty cool that its custom because it sets them apart for all the other departments.

Any idea who makes it? If you have a very high-res picture, it often says on the lightbar who the manufacturer is.

That is a STL K-Force 55 Lightbar. I also agree with the OP as this lightbar is very unique and few departments use this beauty.

For future reference: how did you find it?

EDIT: Hang on a sec. Looking at the manufacturer website, that lightbar is completely flat and rectangular. This one bulges on the edges. It actually looks kind of like a Code 3 360, but with (relatively) flat LEDs instead of a bubble. At first I thought this, but on checking again, it really doesn't look much like a 360 at all.

LOL! 360 was so weak-looking.

Google my friend. I simply googled "St. Charles Police Department Lightbar" and it came up on a page. Then I compared it to these photographs and found a match. :D

That looks pretty bad ass. Get a couple modders to add that to some Chargers, CVPI's and Tahoes; stat!
