EDIT: It reverts to 573 like it says, THEN the Rockstar launcher takes over and forces you to re-download the goddamn update, and we're back to square 1................

If you're using Steam go to steam(top left)/settings/downloads and limit your auto updating to a time when you are not online. If you're not on Steam i don't know how to help.

This does not work. And I like how the RPH assholes shut down their site too. Looks like Rockstar just killed modding today.

Not really, their twitter explains the issues they have had just wait it out i'm sure they will try to get an update out as soon as they can. It's not like this is their career or anything they have lives too.

ragehook didnt shut down their website they are just waiting on the host to re-up their service. its on their twitter.

Works fine for me on retail version. 

• Use this patch to revert
• Let the Rockstar DRM log in to social club, then cancel when it starts updating.
• Block The Rockstar Launcher from your firewall, or simply disconnect from the Internet.
• Restart RPH.
• ???
• Profit!

I just used this option inside the ragehook launcher and everything worked fine, game loaded up with no issues.

No, it works, just sign in then press cancel. Then open windows firewall and block outcominig conections to GTAV launcher, then start ragehook and go to offline mode. Now i never let that shity game to goes online, f*ckin rockstar... Ok im going to play and text my cars thx to Metropolice 

When I cancel the update, RPH closes too. How do you block things with a firewall?

It's not, if you're unsure get your anti virus to scan it. Remember this only works if you have previously backed up your files.

I blocked everything in my firewall that was gta, and it still wants to downlod the update. What do i need to do?

Blocking it with a firewall does not work. The launcher takes over and forces the update.Canceling the update closes RPH. Unplugging the internet doesn't work either, because the launcher demands you sign in. 

where did you find offline mode?

Unplugging the internet worked for me, thats when i found offline mode.

you should get this when you disconnect  your internet from your computer
