Those should be the files to remove, I do reccommend when using Online that you use a private lobby (most if not all public ones are glitchy due to hackers). There are also a few .exe available to download that can remove mods for you so you can play GTA Online.. however i can't fully recommend them as i've never used them (worth a look into though).

That being said, if your PC can really handle the extra 60gb it's not that bad to have another directory. Considering when GTA V first launched and mods came around people started to get banned because of using mods in Single Player, so as it's not really neccesary having 2 directories makes you 100% safe. but like i said, they only really get you if you're using hack in Online. i've gone into Online with mods heaps of times and never got banned.

 

Do you know what rockstar generally detects? .dlls? .asis? Or just injections? 

So are you saying we can take a chance and do a patrol with a buddy online and be OK?  Lol ... I wish 

We can't do RPH online :P I just wanna know if I'm safe with those files you mentioned above removed.

Yeah I know , was just teasing because he said he goes on with mods all the time .. and I wasn't the one who mentioned about moving the files , but yes do that and you should be ok

Mods in my directory, no actual mods are able to be used/activated online.. Especially LSPDFR. if someone manages to get RPH and LSPDFR working in GTA Online then they'll be crowned a god because it's impossible to do that.

I went online after removing those files. Seems to be fine.

tbh with the PC version, theres more of a risk from going into a public lobby and getting a headache than getting banned.

...never go into a private lobby unless you want hackers attaching a million things to your character resulting in a game crash. stick to a private lobby with your friends, Or join a crew and play with them. I know i'm a bit late to this chat but I rather post on here than opening a new post but if I read correctly, I can make two seperate versions of GTAV one in steam and one out of steam for modding aka LSPDFR as a standalone. I was going to look into a crack for GTAV for my steam version so i could just make a png icon and rename the folder LSPDFR, without having to screw up the vanilla version and get banned. If i misunderstood, is there a way to make it possible to have 2 different versions of GTAV without having to rename folders when i want to switch?

I got three copies of the game, named;

"Grand Theft Auto V NL" (This is my Dutch LSPD:FR folder)

"Grand Theft Auto V US" (This is my American LSPD:FR folder)

"Grand Theft Auto V MP" (This is my clean multiplayer folder)

 

I just change one of the names back to "Grand Theft Auto V" depending on which one I want to play with.

If I want to play Multiplayer, i just change the "Grand Theft Auto V MP" back to "Grand Theft Auto V" and launch GTA V.

If I want to play with my Dutch pack, I change the name of "Grand Theft Auto V NL" back to "Grand Theft Auto V" and launch the RageHook
