Navy Plane Crash in Virginia Beach

Featured Replies

In case nobody heard a Navy F-18 Jet crashed into an apartment complex here in VB, so far, no deaths, which is kinda miraculous.... there was a excellent response from Va Beach Emergency Services... Video Attached.

I don't see how knowing or not knowing about this incident makes you any more or less smart. Many on LCPDFR here simply don't live in the U.S. and might not hear about it and I'm almost certain most living here in the States that don't live under a rock have heard about this. But either way a multi-million dollar miitary jet crash that resulted in no deaths is sure to be big news around the world.

I live in the UK and I heard about it almost instantly.

That's because part of my daily routine is checking the news. It helps to remain updated.

Processor: Intel i5-6600 @ 3.30GHz

GPU: MSI ARMOR GeForce GTX 1080 OC

Ram: 16GB Skylake

As far as I've heard, the pilot tried to "aim" for a courtyard but the F-18 felt like doing a house-call, I think two of the people who are now homeless posted an "As Me Anything" on Reddit the other day, saying they bascially only have 84 dollar allowance, and 200 dollars for clothes, provided by the navy, although they are currently in a hotel.

This is the best case scenario by far, no deaths, only damage to property, which can be replaced, someone's face can't.

The only "news" I read is when I open up chrome and I see the headlines on yahoo, which yahoo is hardly worth calling news. So, I never heard about this. The only thing that made me click this link is that twice I went to VB and saw F-18s and what not fly by breaking the sound barrier.

Your seriously going to post that under my posts stating to knock it off? No, I told everyone to end it and get back on topic, adding a little bit before you get on topic wont cut it, I'll leave in the part where you actually get on topic, refrain from acting this way again in the near future, -JAM

Back on topic this incident was much more fortunate that the F/A-18 crash down in San Diego a few years ago where a U.S. Marine Corps F/A-18 fighter from MCAS Miramar crashed into a home killing a man's wife, his infant, and his grandmother. I think the government ended up paying millions, in a lawsuit, to him.

Wow, yea so far there is no injuries which is really surprising for taking out like 20 single apartments... at Noon, on a Friday... near the beach lol...

Was the guy who sued military? or civilian? .... if you know, im just curious
