cars are released, check first post

I'm going to update my CV LX, because hubcaps isn't right choice for car like this. im looking for alloy wheels and now i have two options and need to pick one of them. What do you think guys which one is better?

 Well i also want to implement secondary version with beige interior, seats are little remodeled,  it's already flashed on the screens so this isn't a secreet anywhay. There is still need to work with textures color because it's look unrealisc for now. Thats a real problem to find correct tone because i can check color only in game. Of course i have an idea to make this paintable via trainer using secondary color, in this case everyone can make their own car style.  But i don't think is a good idea because in this case whole town of AI vehicles will be driving in black interior because i don't want to touch carcols or carvariation files.

well, i need to say i try to replicate something like this 

this the 2003 crown vic lx, except the seats it's perfectly match, i probably change the header on download page on that year. I can't remodel seats to semething like that because i don't have blueprints and without of it my skills are not enough.

In editor color looks good

but in the game everything is ruined due to many shaders and filter that game apply on textures, needles to say black color is most difficult to implement as it's looks purple. Well doors and seats are fine for me but dashboard is deffinetley not 

 

And for the rims this the stock 1999 rims

it's good but im trying to do 21 century car

this is the rims that perfectly match for my goals, actualy similar shape is already exist in the game

i,ll try to rescale needles and cover that bolt space. Only problem is i dont freaking know where is that rims are stored in the game archives...

For the color of the inside it's not a big problem problem. It's light brown. Have you try with gray color for the leather ?

And for the wheel, it seems like less bigger than the original model

I will vote for the wheels on the right.  I think that they look similar to the HPP "handling and performance package" wheels that were offered as an optional upgrade up until 2002.

this doesn't matter, original shape is already done, vertices is the most coolest thing that can change everything

here is the best what we got, the left is a perfect match for HPP right's needs to remodeled and the middle one simply beautiful and looking good in the game

The wheel all of the way on the right looks like a close match to the wheel already shown by 55charlie, although that has thicker aluminum, and was a wheel that was only used for 2003+ base models.

The center wheel doesn't look like any of the stock Ford wheels, though.  It also appears to have simulation bead locks.

I would imagine that the wheel all of the way on the left could be left as-is to replicate the stock Ford HPP wheels that were used up until 2002.

Only problem is it has 10 needles instead of 9 on original.

Im trying to remodel that thing with my dumb yokel precise technique i think this isnt happen but it's funny to try. I slect all inner vertices and recale inner circle to the center. Then i wanna try to edit each niddle like a one segment. If there is a 10 niddles that means one step is equal 36 degrees, so i perfectly lighn up first segment with Y axis. Then make exact adjustments on vertices like rescale to 90% move up to 2cm up and finnaly i rotate whole model by 36 degree and it's start again, untill last segment will be finish. 

Jesus what else can i do if i can't model...

I have no idea what to tell you about that.  I'm a hands on guy, but definitely not a programmer, graphic design, or computer modeler! :)

Here are some other choices:

2003+ alloy wheels

 

2003+ alloy "Sport" wheels (Sport is the equivalent of the Handling and Performance Package, but renamed for 2003+ models.)  I believe that these may have been used on "LX" models as well.

 

1998-2002 alloy "LX" wheels

 

2003-2006 steel wheels with wheel covers/hub caps

For the color you just need to use a picture software like photshop and change it.

I almost forgot.  There was also an alloy Sport wheel available for 1998-2002 models.  These are similar to the Sport/LX wheels available for 2003+ models, but feature a different offset.

charlie, i'm working in photoshop how do you think i can possibly work with textures? In the paint? Hahahaha!  I already told what is the problem with picking correct tone, read previous messages carefully. And what do you mean by "maps"?

oh, this car is so beautiful. We used to have similiar car up untill 2011 it's called Gaz Volga 31105 but production was over the same year as crown vics

 

Im already picked the wheels and working with it just need some adjustments such as set U shaped thigs a little up and make treangles more sharp and small. All of this just monotone work
