So I saw a picture a new Charger the CHP might use and I would like to more about it. I'm from NY so I don't generally know much about the CHP so was wondering if anyone has seen anymore pictures of this vehicle and if they definitely know they are going to start using this vehicle. I think it looks amazing and I really like it, has a very clean lighting and equipment package. Hopefully someone could get it in game soon :)

I haven't seen them as of yet, and I sure do hope I never will.

I think they are just testing it as I understood on their Instagram. The pics that you can find on internet were taken on the CHP academy and not patrolling. Personally I like the previous version of the Charger, but in my opinion the Ford's vehicles looks better for the CHP.

The newest ones? Not a chance. That is unless they replace all Ford Explorers with the Dodge Chargers. That's when I'll start liking them.

CHP officers will be prototyping the Dodge Charger Pursuit as a supplement to their fleet of Ford Police Interceptor Utility Vehicles.

If they are anything like the new SUV’s we’re seeing more and more on Bay Area freeways, this prototype will be equipped with bullet-resistant doors, and ‘Pursuit Mode,’ which activates precision handling and a plethora of other features not found on civilian cars.

According to Police Magazine, the Dodge Charger Pursuit got a lot of upgrades in the cockpit in 2015, including a 7-inch instrument screen, and Bluetooth as standard equipment.

In white, this CHP Dodge Charger looks like a muscle-car on steroids. The new headlamp styling looks cool, but this definitely is not the pair of headlights drivers want to see in their rear-view mirrors. If they do, they should slow down… or get out of the way.

 

So is not out yet their just testing it i would assume at the academy

lol yeah I know what you meant...I actually think they look pretty sick I have similar headlight style as the newer chargers on my raptor

I'm not sure what a Raptor looks like, but if it's anything like the new Chargers, I think I'd rather not know.

Not sure if I've "never" seen one. If I saw one in person, probably wouldn't know it was a Ford Raptor unless I looked at the make and model name.

they obviously don't look like the chargers, the only thing I don't like about the 15 is the smaller grille it looks like a dart

Ugh I hate the newest chargers.  The older ones looked so menacing- these ones look so wimpy.  I'm glad my state went with Explorers- they're so much better.
