ive been wanting to buy gta IV to get first response but i windows 7 will this work on my system i have a:

Lenovo v570 laptop

6gb ram

640gb hard drive

intel core i5 processor

Intel ® HD graphic family (i think is my video card)

i keep seeing ppl say it works for them some say it doesnt can someone help me

The only problems I see are your processor and video card, because of it being a laptop. Otherwise, it works fine on W7.

Yo Ive got the i5 on my laptop and it can handle the gta. Im not sure how would your graphics card handle it. Its a good idea to download the game i.e. by torrent and see if u can run it, than buy it.

Hey, it's nothing wrong in torrenting, as far as you just want to test the software out and buy it after trying it. As far as I know torrented software is legal for 24 hours.

Right, however, torrented versions of Grand Theft Auto IV are highly discouraged here as well as are not supported by the LCPDFR Modification.

the reason i ask is because amazon sells it for 2 different prices 7 to dl it or 20 for them to send you a disc is there a difference also the the dl version im guessing has a tag that says not windows 7 compatable

Its impossible, that it aint compatibile with windows 7 brother. I would take the cheaper one. Dont you worry bout win 7 compatibility, unless its fake version or some shit. Yo show us the link mate.

EDIT: Ive checked the Amazon and 7 dolla price is for gta 3 or gta vice city homie, be careful :P

Your laptop has Intel integrated graphics, that can't be qualified as graphics card, nor will it run GTA IV. Don't buy it, you'd be wasting your money.

That is borderline suggesting some one to Pirate, telling some one something isn't "Wrong" is practically the same thing.

It has been stated numerous times before on this site, we discourage the use of pirating and that LCPDFR does not support it, anything to instigate against that is exactly the same as suggesting some one to torrent, what happens when they torrent, and they download the mod, it doesn't work (Because we don't support it) and the user gets extremely frustrated because of this? It's reccomended to just buy the game, rather than torrent first, your practically arguing with moderators at this point, you need to accept the fact that encouraging torrenting is not allowed on this site and that your post was borderline if not exactly encouraging the user to pirate software to "Try it out" when we've already stated that its not allowed/discouraged, leave it at that.

It's no worries bud, its not like we hate you or something, far from, its just that we have to enforce the fact that suggesting people to pirate software is against the guidelines, thus we have to enforce it, but again, its no worries, at least you have learned about it rather than some users who just walk off and ignore us, thank you for understanding where we are coming from as moderators, and ending the discussion unlike other members who would continue to argue with us.

He only has Intel Integrated Graphics. Ergo, he can't run most games let alone GTA IV.
