Can't wait for that! :D

"Please, put it in park, will ya?" "LSPD, see the lights, pullover." "Stop the vehicle, we need to have a little chat!" "Get in the car and keep your mouth shut." "You have the right to absolutely nothing." "The damn gun is jammed!"

I'm getting a little p*ssed off with the front lights of this car in real life! They make no sense. After further investigation I've found the following

LAPD:

The headlights on the LAPD vehicles are "multifunction"

Red circle flashes (as shown in the video) when the emergency lights are on. They also flash, when the car is indicating. The green bit, is just the sidemarker, so it's always on (at night) but doesn't work as an indicator. I got it wrong at first (when I messaged you). I'm sorry, I thought it was the indicator but it's not, it's just the sidemarker.

CHP:

CHP don't have the "police headlamp" so their top headlamp is orange. Still divided into two sections, sidemarker & indicator.

 Video above, at 0.37 onwards you can see the CHP's headlights indicating.

See video below:

Indicator is flashing, on the left side, whilst on the right it's just a sidemarker. Same set-up as CHP.

Notice how the entire top part is on, but the indicator flashes brighter than the rest. The car has it's sidemarker lights on.

wow, thanks a lot for detailed info! :woot:

AH! Looks amazing! I'm really liking it all Desmond! Good work, you even managed to find the three language stickers as well! Very well done, and thanks for re-doing the indicators, that was my fault for not fully understanding how they worked before. The interior is shaping up nicer every time I check this post.

Good to know you're making progress. Thank you for your work. Any chance you can add a police laptop to the interior? Also, the side spotlights seem somewhat small to me. Are they supposed to be that size?

@SeaHawk14

for 2014 setup i need use a Fedsig spotlight or Wheelen par46 spotlight ?

LAPD Ford Utility w/ Valor Lightbar

 I've only seen them with the Fedsignal spotlight, even the new test Explorers seem to have the FedSignal spotlight, all the Ford Police Utilities have the FedSignal spotlight, so do the Ford Interceptor sedans.
