Alright, I'll try. All I could really find on a time crunch. int15_ext_pg_047_full.thumb.jpg.a719d240_mg_0006_full.thumb.jpg.ee36f9a198c44ca2

Both of these cannot be right. Usually US cars have plastic shaped seats, and door cards installed over the rear doors, to prevent the prisoner escaping.

Seat's are like this:

This is the interior of a SDPD vehicle, its a Ford Police Interceptor Utility. Notice the doors are covered with a plastic cover, moulded to cover the door handles and prevent any access to the side pockets.

I know that in the video the rear doors don't have a door card cover, but that was a demo in 2013 of the LAPD's future vehicles, some features were obviously changed from the demo version.

Another image of a door card cover, to give you an idea of the door cards.

Hmm, true indeed. Those pictures were from 2012 and a 2016 Ford Police Interceptor Utility. But, yes, I know those were the wrong seats. I was just giving him a basic idea for the back door trim. I'm not experienced in modeling but I'm guessing he could just use the those pictures has a "template" and then do whatever, like, plastic covers and molded door handles etc etc. Who knows if you can even implement a back seat or doors like that in GTA 5 yet.

all LAPD Explorers have such rear seats and door car cover ?

They have seat covers but no door covers. That'd be too much money for them given how many vehicles they'd have to outfit.

Actually they roll out of the factory like that. It's up to the upfitters/installers of whatever agencies that purchases them and they install the plastic cover and other products in it.

I believe they have them on all Crown Vic's. There's not many images of the interior of the Utility, let alone the Utility belonging to the LAPD. Perhaps you know some Los Angeles contacts who can photograph the interior of the vehicle?

most likely, I will release explorer in this weekend, but he will not have a lightbar and any changes in the interior, it will added in next updates

Yeah, for now, until we can establish a more concrete understanding of the interior, just leave it as it is. It's beautiful the way it is, then once a Californian tells us what the interior looks like, then you can update it and make it more accurate. It's of very low priority. Good luck

I do know a guy, but he doesn't go out in the field often anymore. I'll see if he can get some info at least. And desmond, a release this weekend would be bomb. Good way to destress. :D
