I get this line of bullshit when starting GTA

I installed this "mod" and I get this now:

"Exception EFCreateError in module DSOUND.dll at 000116C5.

Cannot create file "C:\program files (x86)\Rockstar Games\ Grand theft auto IV\ asilog.txt" Access is denied."

I've never dealt with such a difficult mod before. I got GTA for PC because I wanted to use either lcpdfr or police pursuit mod. So far I've gotten neither to work.

Help would be appreciated.

And yeah, I know this goes in the "suport" section. But clicking new topic just brings up some worthless troubleshooter.

Please use the search feature on the site before posting, this issue has been solved many times before.

Make sure your GTA directories are not readonly, especially the COMMON/DATA folder

Also ensure you are running the installer as an administrator.

Run game as admin

Because running the game as admin is really difficult. And you will follow the troubleshooter next time. If you had done, this is an error that's fixed in the troubleshooter.
