Patroling units involved in pursuit

Would be awesome, if randomly patroling units (eg from cops on the beat mod) would join your puruits. Today I had a Pursuit where two patroling units crosses my way and left the suspect run over some peds.

This has been suggested before and as explained back then, it is currently not possible to control police cars spawned by the game itself. It may very well be possible later on though.

I think its realistic in that they cant just take up units they come across, units need to continue an even distribution across the county to assist with other crimes...remember its not just that one pursuit in the whole of Los Santos lmao

Well this is how the massive pursuits start with almost 2 dozens of vehicles. All available unit joins in the fun. Doing a simple patrol and having a chase going on close to you makes you available, it is a simple matter of priority.

When I pull a vehicle over for running a red light and I have a callout for a bank robbery or an armed suspect pursuit, it takes priority on what I am doing and I let the driver free to go to respond to the emergency.
