Possible FIX for LSPDFR 0.2b crashes! [Shift, E, No console, etc.]

So, many of you peeps, as far as I've been reading, have experienced the same pretty annoying and disturbing bug with RageHook and LSPDFR crashing

when you press Shift to trigger a traffic stop, interact with peds or access the Police Computer. Or RGH Console (F4) not appearing. I was one of them and for me I found a fix for these problems (which works permanently for me, now.) So I decided to share and maybe this will work for someone else, too. Here's what you need to do:

• DELETE all of your modifications for GTA V.
• OPTIONAL - verify your GTA V cache through Steam.
• REINSTALL RAGEPluginHook and LSPDFR 0.2b with the latest versions.
• Make sure your GTA V has the latest version 393.4
• Unblock all the files RGH needs to have unblocked.
• Click on RAGEPluginHook.exe (In your GTA V directory), go to properties, compatibility and make it run in compatibility mode with Windows 8 (If you're using Windows 10)
• ALWAYS run RaagePluginHook.exe (Or your shourtcut on the desktop, if you have one) as administrator.
• Run the game and try triggering a straffic stop with Shift, bringing up the RGH console or any other thing that caused crashing for you.

If the above steps worked for you too, feel free to start adding your desired mods one-by-one, to check and prevent your game from crashing again if any of the other mods were causing it.

Hope this works for all of you! If not, then I'm sorry, but I won't be able to help otherwise.

if your console key still doesn't work, open your RagePluginHook.ini and make sure there's a line called "ConsoleKey=F4" or any other key. If not, add it. (This line wasn't there for me for some reason. I added it and it works now.)

So All What You Have Said is true 

Rage Plugin Hook Doesn't Support this Windows and ur chance to fix it by changing the compatibility some times doesn't work so u msut follow the steps and the requirments to don't meet any problem so u must Install Windows 7 or 8 but 64bit

I would partly disagree with that. If RGH didn't support Windows 10 in any way, then I wouldn't be enjoying LSPDFR 0.2b and bunch of different mods for it, for the past couple of hours after the steps I mentioned in the thread, that worked for me.

You do not have (though you can) to downgrade back to Windows7/8, because RGH developers are moving to Windows 10, too, thus I am sure an update is on it's way with the compatibility of Windows 10. If I'm not mistaken, they already answered someone on their forums that Windows 10 has no issues with RGH for them when they tested it.

Either way, what people can do, if neither mine or @TheUniT possible fix didn't work, is to downgrade, yes, but I wouldn't call that the best and wisest option. Trying to sreach forums for any other possible fixes is something you can do, too.

Anyhow, if all the steps mentioned above worked for anyone else, I'd be happy to know!

i've never had an issue with crashing, it came after windows 10.

Just tried lspdfr for the first time with win10, pressed shift and the game crashed. RPH log file said this LSPD First Response: WARNING! Plugin "LSPD First Response" was terminated because it caused the game to freeze (Freeze was caused by game fiber: <UNNAMED THREAD>).

I guess windows 10 is the real case then. Hope something gets done about it soon. Even though my crashing cleared and everything works fine now, I have to mention that if anyone else has other mods other than LSPDFR, too, they need to be installed correctly. I had LSPDFR crashing once in a while when it tried to generate a callout from a different mod. At first I thought it really is my Windows 10 messing with LSPDFR or RGH, but after I took a closer look at the error message in log file and then investigated all my plugins and did a fresh re-install, it works excellent now. It couldn't locate one file for custom callouts and that was making my LSPDFR crash.

Maybe it's helpful to mention that before all my steps which are mentioned above in the thread worked, I did re-install RGH and LSPDFR more than 3 times. Deleting any other .dll .asi or anything that belongs to mods was one thing I did too.

Lets just hope for a fix from devs soon!

I will add to what the OP mentioned as well that has helped me

Make sure your .NET frameworks is 4.5.1 version at least.  Go to Control panel and Programs Uninstall, look at .NET Frameworks and first look at your Frameworks. Do you see a 4.5.1 version?  If so, do the following. Left click once,  go to Uninstall > a window will pop up.  Go to REPAIR.  It will take a few minutes.  Look for older version of  .NET Frameworks.  I found an outdated one that may have conflicted here and removed it. 

As another had mentioned above me.  Make sure you look at your RagePluginHook.ini  which is in your GTA V directory.

Make sure it looks like this

[Miscellaneous]
IsDeveloperModeEnabled=True
PluginTimeoutThreshold=10000
ConsoleKey=F4

The maker of RagePluginHook forgot to add that line at the bottom "ConsoleKey=F4"  so add it in and SAVE file.

tried to up my PluginTimeoutThreshold in the Hook Ini, but this not help.

Unblocked all files, F4 key is alright. 

My problem, Jump into police car, Press Shift or E to search for numberPlates Numbers..The game crashes on me with RagePluginHook Message. 

any ideas? 

What is the "Unblock" List for RagePlugin?, Maybe i'v missed something?

I have a ploblem withe the File RagePluginHook.ini where the hell is the file? I don´t have it in the Zip Folder and I dont´have that in the GTA 5 Folder. Please help me. 

Step by Step:

I downloaded the ZIP Folder

I extract it on the desktop or in the next try in the GTA 5 Folder. I unblock manuel zue dll dateien. 

I run RagePluginHook 

GTA 5 Storymodus loaded

I´m in the Game I want to press F4 but nothing happend.

Everyone any Ideas where the hell the RagePluginHook.ini datei can be?

I use an original GTA 5 Disk version Win 10 64 Bit.

Put the attached file into your games main directory, and try to open the console again.

I downloaded the .ini Datei and put it in the folder. I press F4 but nothing happend. Have you other ideas? I reinstall the Game, load the Mod again, copy the folders in the GTA 5 Folder Start the game but nothing happend.
