RETAIL VERSION!!!

Featured Replies

SO I TAKE IT THAT LSPDFR DOES NOT WORK WITH THE RETAIL VERSION. I HAVE READ EVERY FORUM ON HERE AND ON THE RAGE HOOK WEBSITE AND EVERYTHING IS ABOUT STEAM. I SEE NO SUPPORT OR ANYTHING FOR A WAY TO GET LSPDFR TO WORK ON RETAIL COPYS. I HAVE FOLLOWED EVERY PIECE OF ADVICE ON HERE AND ON RAGE HOOK AND NOBODY HAS ANYTHING TO SAY TO HELP GETTING IT TO WORK ON RETAIL VERSION. ONLY STEAM...

I'm pretty sure the only difference between the retail version and the Steam version is the directory that it's installed to. If anything, retail versions are easier to mod considering you don't have to worry about Steam interfering.

I have the retail version. There are differences from the Steam version; it's a different build. However, RPH (and thus LSPDFR) work just fine on both.

IT SHOULD BE JUST FINE SINCE YOU'RE GOING TO BE DUMPING THE CONTENTS OF THE MOD ZIP FILE INTO WHATEVER THE ROOT FOLDER IS FOR GTA V. JUST INSTALL IT AND SEE IF IT WORKS, AND IF NOT, LET US KNOW AND WE CAN HELP YOU.

None of the devs owns the retail copy and we all work on the steam copy. Hence we can't test on the retail version ourselves, but have testers who supply us with the files necessary to analyze so we can add support and they report it is working well. I fail to see why you are so upset about that. After all, we put extra effort into supporting this version, because it's different, so there is no reason for anger. How can it be our fault if YOU decide to buy the retail version? People are demanding these days...

Please do not PM me unless really necessary (knowing you helps). If you think you need my attention in a topic, tag me.

I did install them correctly. I have been working a little with finkone and I have done everything. I'm assuming (which you all know what happens when people assume) it is a ragehook problem. But I have gone to there forums and have done everything it says and I still get nothing. I'm not sure what the problem is exactly.
