To Everyone

After I install or change police/sheriff textures in Open V they are saved but when I open and start GTA 5 rockstar games social club opens and it will automatically starts downloading something.

Please Help

Yeah i have the same problem

If you have the DVD or Warehouse version, the only way that I know of stopping it is to block GTAVLauncher.exe in your firewall.

You need to use a mods folder: http://openiv.com/?p=1132

 

Also, moved to GTA V Support since this has nothing to do with LSPDFR.

You would follow the tutorial I linked. I'm pretty sure the images are even from Windows 8...

The LSPDFR Support forum is for support regarding the LSPDFR modification itself, not just any mod. Just because you downloaded something from here doesn't mean it is LSPDFR related.

I do know how to install mods its just that after i install the mods with open V i quit out then Run GTA 5 and then it always starts download an update?? after it finishes doing this it has deleted all of the changes I had made!!!!

You clearly do not know how to install mods for GTA V. It is not as simple as GTA IV, you need to follow the tutorial I linked and use a mods folder. Here's that link again: http://openiv.com/?p=1132 

The video is confusing and he/she goes through the steps to fast! 7 seconds into the clip at the top its got GTA V, Game, Models, cdimages where to I assess or get those from???

I cant find GtA V then GAME folder where is it aswell as the cdimages one?

its certainly not uder any of the x64's

When I go to x64e levels,models,gta v etc it does not have all the cdimages,pedprobs,radar,weapons like in the clip?

I have attached what many tube channels are saying to do Install.txt

How about I just post the tutorial here (copy and pasted from my link):

Instruction:
1 – Download and install OpenIV. Configure it to work with your copy of GTAV.
2 – Navigate to ASI Manager using menu “Tools” > “ASI Manager” or “ASI Manager” button on tool bar.

Through ASI Manager, you can install, update or remove ASI Loader and OpenIV ASI plugins.
3 – Install ASI Loader and OpenIV.ASI
4 – Open your GTA V folder in File Explorer; you can do it fast in OpenIV
5 – In root of your GTA V folder create new folder and name it “mods” (lower case)
6 – Now you have to copy RPF archives into “mods” folder. For example, if you want to modify “Grand Theft Auto V\update\update.rpf” you need to copy it like “Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\update.rpf”.
The following table is explain how you need to copy archives to mods folder. The path to RPF archive in “mods” folder must be the same as in real GTA Vfolder, here is some examples:

 

Grand Theft Auto V – Original archive path	Path in “mods” folder
GTAV\update\update.rpf	GTAV\mods\update\update.rpf
GTAV\common.rpf	GTAV\mods\common.rpf
GTAV\x64\audio\sfx\SCRIPT.rpf	GTAV\mods\x64\audio\sfx\SCRIPT.rpf
GTAV\update\x64\dlcpacks\mpheist\dlc.rpf	GTAV\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\mpheist\dlc.rpf
GTAV\x64e.rpf	GTAV\mods\x64e.rpf

7 – From this point if you want to install mod or edit some file you need to do it in archive from “mods” folder.

 

Now all your mods will be in separated folder, and original files will stay not modified.
If you want to switch back to original files just go to ASI Manager and remove OpenIV.ASI. In addition, you can remove ASI Loader to disable all ASI plugins that you have installed.
You can use ASI Manager any time to switch between mods and original game. You no need to remove “mods” folder every time.
