[WIP] Rescue Mod V (FD, EMS, LifeGuard)

I've been fixing the last remaining bugs, I also changed the FireFighter outfit depending on your company to make things more realistic (engine, ladder and rescue companies will have orange helmet, and Battalion Chief will have a white helmet), I also improved the flashlight of the Firefighter (looks more realistic).

Also, instead of always having the same police car responding / on scene, I added more police models (from unmarked, to marked including slicktop, etc.).

And last news: I started recording the video tutorial of the mod.

Is there any list of the CG callouts yet to be added? Also, which kind of equipament is avaliable for the CG? I have a couple suggestions:

- The option to deploy the rescue swimmer jumping off the helicopter instead of rapeling down, keeping both deployment options.

- The option to request an ambulance to evacuate the victim. The ambulance would be dispatched to a nearby place where the helicopter could land, something like a parking lot or such, where the ambulance would pick up the victim and evacuate in to the local hospital. If the events took place somewhere far from Los Santos or the state of the victim doesn't require to be urgently evacuated to the hospital, this would be particularly useful.

About the firefighting part of the mod, in a forest fire scenario, I would suggest the use of inmate fire crews as an additional reinforcement option. I have heard that it's a common practice in the USA, in California in particular, to use prisoners in wildfires. A prison bus could be dispatched, deploying a variation of the regular firefighters with a orangeish looking uniforms. A sheriff patrol car could be dispatched as well, which would keep an eye on them from a safe distance.

This looks pretty good so far, keep it up with the good work, man.

I will add some of your suggestions in future updates (If I keep adding things now, I'll never release a first version of the mod) !

Hi, always a great work !! I don't know if it's possible, but if theire are brush fire, you can add brush car too, and maybe a plane wich can drop water (like a Canadair), because with the Cuban 800 theire are a fret door wich is openable, in the story mod we drop weapon package with this plane.

Hope this ideas will help you :)

I'll look into it, for a future update, but as stated, at the moment when responding to brush fire, the fire get extinguish fast, but this is definitely a good idea.

Now that you can edit vehicle models and change the textures, and add them as stand alone vehicles, will you be adding engines with different company numbers and maybe based on different vehicles? As well as adding truck companies? Or will you leave this to the other modders?

Also, if you need a voice actor for the dispatcher (which I recommend you do considering the computer voice is both annoying and unrealistic) I'll gladly do it for free! C :

First i'll focus on the script, and then, we'll see for 3d models.

As stated, the dispatch voice is temporary and can be disabled via the .ini file, but in the future I will change it to something more realistic (eventually the GTA5 dispatch audio files).

This looks awesome, and I cant wait to try it out when its released. Question since you've been running it, have you had lspdfr installed as well? I know you have probably been busy modding this and coding, but was just wondering if both this and lspdfr can run at same time or one or the other. Either way I am going to try this. Keep up the good work, excited for the release.

I'd presume so, as LSPD:FR is Rage Hook and this is a script hook mod.

I never tried LSPDFR, so I have no idea. But if you managed to get other script using scripthookvdotnet to work along while ragehook / LSPDFR  running, this will work fine.

@gangrenn How do you exit the VTS? Do you just press E again?

Easy: you either read the key list file provided in the archive, or watch the video tutorial ... press enter ...

Issues I have experienced so far....

  • The cops I have patrolling LS stop driving, they try to drive but get stopped instantly ONLY when this mod is running.
  • Pressing F6 to go off duty does not end the mod and when you go back on duty the mod thinks its running multiple times.
  • Lots of GUI flickering.
  • When reviving peds, the progress bar goes up regardless of what you do.
  • That same progress bar can only fit approx 70% then goes off the edge of the GUI...

I have the same issues that are in bold.

The mod doesn´t work for me, i have  installed scripthook and scripthookdotnet and i press F6 and nothing happens

Did you install the scripts folder that came in the .rar into the root folder of gta v?

Did you install the scripts folder that came in the .rar into the root folder of gta v?

Yes, scripthook, scripthookdotnet and rescue v, all plugins like native trainer and more works 100 % :/

Now it works, but i can´t display the menu, no callouts... Nothing, just drive rescue mod's vehicles.

I fixed this issue, but:

-You could make to press y to accept callouts,

-Fire dies very easy, no need to do anything to make fire disappear.

-The mod will be better if you add controller support.

-You could make callout starts when you are in certain range, not when you accept this one.
