The Final Countdown - LSPDFR Trailer 2

With the Windows 10 coming out, do you guys think that it is going to be a problem for GTA V or LSPDFR? I mean, compatibility issues or an required archive or driver that came on older versions of Windows but won't be used on the Windows 10?

Oh it will be. The new OS means that a lot of people have to make sure that their application works for the new OS. GTA 5 will probably not work, so Rockstar will have a patch that will probably break mods. I don't recommend getting the new OS until a year or so after its release

Microsoft should let developers like R* take a look on the system before, so they can release a patch to prepare the software for the new system. Just like what R* and Nvidia did, one day before GTA V was released, Nvidia released drivers so the GPUs could run the game properly.

Hi, I didn't follow the LCPDFR mod, but I can't wait for this one

I played gta 4 without mods because my computer had a lot of troubles with it (I was able to play only on low quality without shadows).                                                                   While now, I can, with the same computer, easily play to Gta 5 with medium-high graphic settings, gta 4 is probably the less optimized game I ever played, even though I know there is much worse and I still have a lot of fun on this game.

To make this mod even more epic, we should be able to interrupt the robberies of the story mod, trying to stop Michael, Franklin and Trevor would be amazing, of course I know it's impossible, though ...

But Windows 10 is only free for one year. So I guess just wait for something like a patch from R*. And hope that it'll work with LSPDFR. :P

I really like Windows 10 so far and I don't want to miss either of both.

It looks cool and everything, but if you update immediately then most applications won't work. It's just better to wait

I agree, however I think Microsoft is scared of piracy or something. Plus, Microsoft would have to give Rockstar the entire OS, since only giving parts of the OS wouldn't work. That puts Microsoft at a rather big risk

Indeed, it is risky but as far as the OS is free for every Windows 7 and 8 users I don't think is that risky considering that (what I believe) the majority of the computers are running either Windows 7 or 8. I might be wrong though. However it is sill a risk Microsoft does not want to deal with and they are not wrong about it. Let's just hope that the patch come out as soon as possible

Im actually on windows 10 and gta v works just as fine as windows 8. i think the update that really mattered was the update from windows 7 to 8 because there was a lot of behind the scenes work done on that. correct me if im wrong but i think now its just stability,an updated UI, and new programs. i say get it only if you know your way around windows. there are still a lot of bugs that need fixing and the only way to fix them right now is to come up with temporary solutions. its still pretty cool though.

Do you think Rockstar could be updating the game on purpose to prevent this from releasing?

They dont mind it releasing, they confirmed that they are okay with singleplayer mods. And it seems the update just came and we need a scripthook update to play now :S

Okay, this has got to be one of the biggest lies on the Internet. I'm not even going to tell you how wrong you are

Why would they do that? If anything, LSPDFR will be good for Rockstar

This is getting so annoying. Did they messed up the hashes again with that update?

Edit: "Got the patch (1.0.372.2) , native hashes are changed , drm code protection is applied to lots of script related functions , including natives itself" ...

Found info by Alexander Blade

"Some say that the outline of his left nipple is exactly the same shape as the Nurburgring, and if you give him a really important job to do, he’ll skive off and play croquet."

I'm using Windows 10 Build 10135 and it works fine with GTA V.

Thanks for clarifying. :D Now just wait for the official release of Windows 10 (and LSPDFR of course).

Yep, Alexander Blade: "native hashes are changed , drm code protection is applied to lots of script related functions , including natives itself . Backup your files til ScriptHookV update"

Yeah :( Last time it took a few days for the hook to be updated, but this time from what I understand it seems R* messed it up even more so it might be longer

wow....ok.....can you explain yourself as to what i am "lying" about?

I'm not familiar with coding but that "drm code protection is applied to lots of script related functions" really makes me worry.

I guess I'll block GTA V with the firewall and leave this update be until the scripthook is updated :-/

Sorry for being off topic, but is there any way to run the game without the launcher? When I block it in firewall, regardless the game won't launch because the launcher is preventing it from doing so as it is disconnected from internet access.. I have the retail disk version so no steam for me. :(

I bet when it's released Sam will go into hibernation and won't come back until Winter... so don't expect an LSPDFR update until November-December! Oh Sam... your eyes must be on fire by now.
