Last, I wanted my backup in the root folder set, start again. So I remove everything from the root directory. And put my backup into it.

I'm going to play but he says:

Vehicles.img not found!

So I go in search vehicles.img me and indeed I have not more!!!!

NOWHERE IS NOT ME IN TRASH!

So my question:

Would somebody give hims/hers vehicles.img (backup, normal files)

Please, i dont wanna to reinstall the hole GTA 4!!!!!!

You'll have to re-install GTA, as it would be copyright infringement if anyone uploads the default vehicles.img, which is the intellectual property of Rockstar.

would it be infringement, technically he does own the full game, and henceforth the access to said folder, it's not like we are giving the full game away to someone who does not own the game.

But the file itself was created by Rockstar, which cannot be redistributed by other users as per Copyright.

He owns the game, but he does not own the rights to redistribute the file(s) in the product, those rights still belong to Rockstar Games.

Hey NicolaiB, Is it ok for me to post a link to a site that contains backup files as I know another site that has them. That way no one here is infringing copyright. Or I could send the link in a PM to the OP.

We don't have any way of confirming that his statement is 100% true, nor does Rockstar. A re-install isn't THAT huge of an inconvenience. Anyway we're beating a dead horse here. I'm going to go ahead and close the topic now.
