Improved Spotlight and vehicle lighting. (Drunkpolice/LEDesigns 2015)

This mod allows you to experience correct searchlight coloring and brightness, along with increased emergency LED brightness during daylight and evening.

FEATURES
- realistic searchlight brightness/color
- Headlight, brake lights, turn signals, reverse light and plate light have increased brightness.
- Corrected helicopter/plane lighting ( including beacons )
- Red interior light ( for law enforcement purposes)
- Brighter emergency lights ( still a work in progress, not final.)

INSTALLATION
1. Using OpenIV, replace the visualsettings.dat in GTA V/update/update.rpf/common/data with the new one supplied in this download.

This is great. Is it possible to make the lights even brighter?

Judging by the features we see no other mods are "taking over":

1. Tickets. They made it! It's just the closed window on the driver's side looks weird lol.

2. I think the "I like chases" pic depicts an AI-conducted arrest?

3. Air support. I wonder whether we will be able to choose between a Maverick and that over one, the black one. And maybe enable the Annihilator, like Yard did in his mod?

4. The pic "Dangerous approach" may depict an AI-traffic stop! Or it may be a felony traffic stop. Both guesses are awesome regardless.

The only thing I'm missing here is a more detailed depiction of an arrest and/or suspect transport. We now have a Police Transporter special for this lol.

Don't worry, I also have that experience once when I was looking at 2 topics then I mistakenly commented on the other topic.

And the blue looks just a bit too washed out.

Yeah, I think the Rockstar forgot to fix that or they purposely did that?

Could you make a mod to make the Vapid Stanier Police Cruiser to have real Red and Blue lights?

That's really weird, lol, I must have gone blind or something. Thanks for pointing it out, I've reported my post for deletion.)

There is nothing i can do about the washed out yellow/blue lights on the Vapid Stanier, this is on Rockstar's side. Sorry, i attempted to fix it. When OpenIV is updated with the abilities to edit models, perhaps the light color issues will be corrected from there.

Yeah retexturing the glass in the model when the rest of the game files are de-crypted might fix this issue.

Maybe, this is a good theory. Every other law enforcement cars have the correct coloring except for the vapid stainer so i think you might be right.

Thank you, Sam. Just did it.

We shall see when Open IV updates.Everything seems pretty straight forward in the vehicles rpf.Ill take a crack at it in PS.

Examining those texture archives, the default livery maximum is double that of GTA IV. Hopefully if, and when ALM is coded for V, we will have greater stability in that regard.
