firetruck2.wft/wtd??? or is it one truck only

You'd have to use OpenIV to add a new vehicle to the game.

I thought you couldn't add vehicles to the game at all, only replace existing ones.

u can replace it with something like the yankee or biff..... thats what i did... the AI vehicles wont pull over for you but as long as you put it into your ELS file it will work. im not to sure about adding vehicles... i didnt think you could do it either

You can, I've add the police stinger before into IV.

Just need the .wft and .wtd files aswell as the lines for it in:

handling

vehicles.ide

carlcols

popcycl

Just paste them into the relevant files in IV.

They won't spawn automatically, will they?

Really? Cause I heard you'll get some kind of an error or an f'ed up game if the .img files are too different from their original states.

You can also make a newvehicles.img file if you want (this is what I did).

I'm pretty sure there are quite a few fire truck mods available at GPM, should you choose to sift through things there. Here is a good one if you can stand FDLC textures instead of FDNY textures, but you can change them---> http://gtapolicemods.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=486

Nope, its entirely possible. There's just a limit on how many you can add. if the vehicles.img file goes over a certain limit in size the game will bug out.

Ah, I knew there was some catch like that. What's the limit?
