It's interesting to see how this community reacts to the problems in Ferguson. 

I find it funny that some people who have previously blamed the media for furthering the problem are doing just that now by calling last nights incident a riot. 

Yesterday, peaceful  protests turned violent on a few occasions, only one incident was directed towards the police while most were just fights within the protesters. 

 

To say that the protesting in Ferguson is unnecessary(@Taylorswift) is ridiculous. It has been proven by both state, federal and independent probes that there is serious racial inequality existing within the community of Ferguson. I agree, the racial problem is something that is often overplayed or twisted against whites. I agree, the media did create a much grander problem by mislabeling criminal Michael Brown as an innocent teenager. But I do not agree that what we are seeing is unnecessary protesting by blacks. 

 

When you look at the statistics and actually go to communities in some southern states you will realize that racism(against all races-especially blacks in this community) is alive and well in America and to say otherwise is both ignorant and ridiculous. 

 

Finally, to say the police have done nothing wrong in the span of this incident is just as ridiculous. The handling of the incident within the first week and insanely large and aggressive response(remember the Gov made the city police step aside) from the police accelerated the issue. Reform is needed in Ferguson and in many places, the best way to bring about reform is peaceful protesting; unfortunately there are people like yesterdays gunman and criminals who tend to take advantage of peaceful movements. 

 

We all need to quit with the labeling, recognize when something is about race or is simply criminal, and get over different colors. Never going to happen but oh well.

They were always capitalized, and I capitalize the letter of every word in every topic that I've ever created. There really isn't any specific way to do it. Several different sites and sources and organizations say it should be done a different way.

I agree that their are many peaceful protests, and fair enough it may not of been protesters who fired the bullets but if you watch the video of it, their is two cops who are lying on the floor bleeding after getting shot and within ten seconds you hear "Acknowledgement nine months ago would of stopped that from happening" that is obviously said to antagonise the cops whose emotions are running high due to the fact they just got shot at seconds earlier. 

 

I think some people here believe the protests are these peaceful, happy, community lead protests and some think that it is just the "homies" going out to cause trouble and in my opinion its a slight bit of both. I don't think that everyone in Ferguson is out to make the lives hell for the Law Enforcement but I don't think everyone their is present to protest for equality.

A few weeks ago In Minnesota officers were fired upon at a Graduating ceremony. Officers then returned fire and took the suspect down.  Why are people getting worse? 

Fuck, people are still protesting! They obviously don't have anything to do.

I'm just waiting for the Police to fire live rounds into the crowds. Maybe that'll help ease the rioting. These people believe that trashing their own communities is going to cause the world to give a shit. I could care less, I'll still go to bed and sleep well tonight regardless of what's going on in Ferguson.

Which brings up the question.... Why are so many Black people arrested? Is it because every Police Officer in the United States is racist? No. Is it because Blacks are being conditioned by the media to blame every problem in the world on White people? Yes. This is the main issue that most don't want to face. Black people today are the most racist people on the face of the Earth. Everything in the world for them revolves around race and how it's always White people's fault. This, undoubtedly creates major crime waves throughout the community because it removes all responsibility from the Black community. Most of them feel as though they're owed something (want everything free) and claim they're somehow oppressed (yet they have more benefits/opportunities than any other race of people).

 

This is the root of the problem. It's Black people creating racism that didn't exist in every single scenario. Stubbed your toe on the table? Racist Cracker built a racist table. It's Pinky's fault that I got a cold.

 

Though I'm not just blaming our Black friends... It's White jackasses that buy into it and feed the "oppression" lies that fuel the flame. If we want racism to end, we need to stop giving special privileges to a select group of people. We also need to stop claiming that everything is racist, unless absolutely proven 100% true. Do this, and racism will cease to exist for the most part.

 

That said, these riots need to stop...

Edit- After many attempts at trying to write something here, I feel like it'd be futile and people would be somehow offended by reality.

 

So I'll just leave it with this. What just happened in Ferguson, is why racism WILL NEVER END in the US. Asshats like Al Sharpton is why racism WILL NEVER END. Biased media sites is why racism WILL NEVER END.

Honestly all I see is nonsense regarding Ferguson. Burning down stores and looting doesn't help anybody.

 

Now to throw in my two cents about the comment mr. Steele1925 made:

In my experience living in the near south, (the southern end of a border state, close 'nuff.) racism is running fairly rampant.

 

Why is this you may ask? Well, I'm here to state my opinion as to why this is.

 

I think John Wayne said it well enough in a 1972 interview that America needs to quit cow towing (Catering) to minorities and start to think of America as a whole, it is only when we see ourselves as Americans that racism can be defeated. Look at Germany, you don't hear of any african-germans or caucasian-germans, why? because the country is unified enough to know that race doesn't matter.

 

The stitches of equality that our great nation tried to sew during the civil rights movement, have now came unraveled. And why? Because of our innate narcissism, we all like to look out for what is best for ourselves. But not our country.

 

There are unarmed black men being targeted by police right now, but there are whites just as well, Latinos, Arabs and more. And why, because we all have horrible tendencies that give the police a reason too.

 

My Ideal to solve this nonsense is to gather a big group of multicultural leaders and personalities, have them work together very publicly, so others will follow.

 

 

The Canadian rock band Rush said it best "And the men who hold high places, must be the ones to start. To mold a new reality closer to the heart."

Unfortunately, most minority groups don't see it that way. I'll use the Hispanics as an example. They REFUSE to assimilate. They REFUSE to learn fluent English. They WILL NEVER BE Americans because they don't want to be. They WANT to be Mexicans, Cubans, Panamanians, etc.

All the minority groups like to have the pseudo-race war EXCEPT the Asian demographic. They've assimilated. Some African Americans have trouble letting go of the past and feel that they're still owed for pre-~1865. We've arguably treated the Asians just as bad, if not worse, yet they've moved on and are quite happy and actually accept being Americans. Hell, Japanese Americans don't hate against us, and we locked them up and took their land away less than 100 years ago!

 

Sorry if I seem to be beating around the bush, but a large percentage of African Americans hold a serious grudge against Whites. Not all, I know a lot that don't hold that grudge, but a serious chunk of them do.

These rioters are no better then the police if they will shoot, kill and plunder... Jeez, it's over. If a black policeman shot a white, none of this would have happened.
