So I just finished the final season of southland.

 

I am ... in shock on how it ended. 

 

If you have not seen the episodes then I highly suggest you purchase them. 

I hate cliffhangers...  I have re-watched all the seasons so many times..

yes they are. the ending is very sad for me. I think the show was over wrong. Very strange died John Cooper, absurd quarrel Sammy and Ben. But, I'm happy for Lydia and Russell.

I highly suggest you purchase them.

Undoubtedly one of the best cop dramas out there.

 

I don't like all these detective CSI shows, they're so inaccurate with their one liners and scripted material.

 

Southland has both detective and the beat cops and really showed it how it is. 

I'm still pissed no one picked it up again, you gotta tie up those loose ends lol

I've actually just finished Season 1 again.. Been getting into it again since i have no other TV Shows to watch at the moment. I love the realism.. and the fact they used real gang members for the part of gang members and real police officers as extras.

I binge-watched seasons 1,2,3 in a week and then had to throttle my self once I got to the end of season 4. 

 

This is one of those shows where you can NOT stop watching. 

 

 

I really wish someone would have picked it up again.

I've seen that, too! I love the connection on the last episode where it says "____(name) has reached the End of Watch". Honestly, I almost cried there. 

My favorite TV show, and End Of Watch is easily my favorite movie.

 

There was talk of doing a 6th season, or like a made for TV movie to tie everything up, but it never happened.

 

I watched all 5 seasons at once, and struggled to find something else to take its place. No other cop show exists which is anywhere near how good Southland is.

 

I then slipped into a state of deep clinical depression for a few weeks. It seriously messed me up. The fact that such an amazing show gets canned, and there's so much garbage being broadcast really gets me.

 

Bluebloods showed some potential, but I couldn't watch it. I was just trying to fill the hole Southland left in my life. I made it one episode. I wanted it to be Southland, but it isn't.
