Vehicle RC20 and OpenIV is messed up.

Featured Replies

So I was In the process of making a vehicle and everything was fine in zmodeler but when loaded in openiv and It was messed up(Seen in pictures) When I load up gta iv it crashes giving me an rc20 error message. I cant tell if open iv is the problem or the model is, there was a recent update for open iv I think that might be the problem. Does anyone know exacly what the problem is?

If you so sure that is the OpenIV fault, I have a great solution for you:

Use SparkIV, it has no updates for ages.

And btw, as long as your Resource (.wft) is created by zModeler and not OpenIV, also OpenIV can show it in viewer, it is probable zModeler fault.

OpenIV does not cause RC20 errors, these are caused by ZModeler. The reason why the hood and the trunk look so weird is because OpenIV uses double sided polygons, ZMod and IV itself don't. It actually doesn't matter at all. All other issues, like normals and wrong mapping/materials are entiretly issues of the model itself.

Maybe something isn't placed in the Hierarchy correctly? Its little things sometimes. I tend to just give up and rebuild the model over again
