Don't know if the Support category is the right place for you to ask, since you don't have a problem with the mod itself, but I will answer your question.

I personally don't recommend gaming on laptops just because your hardware configuration is very limited and not likely upgradeable. But to get to your question, that laptop should have no problems running GTA IV. However, its performance will depend on how many mods you add to it. It will be able to play LCPD:FR, but I wouldn't suggest adding any other mods to the game. GTA IV is a very CPU-heavy game, not GPU-heavy, because it was not optimised for the PC. Looking at the specs, the max CPU speed you can get is with the "Intel Core i7 2637M 1.7GHz(2.8GHz w/Turbo Boost, 4MB Cache)," which is still not that fast for running high-CPU-usage games in my opinion. If you look online, the game still lags for people running it on a desktop Core i7. So I would not advise you to use any other mods with GTA IV besides LCPD:FR if you run it on that laptop.

Any PC that can run GTA IV will run LCPDFR, there's already been several threads about this.

Rather than buying a laptop, build a desktop. You choose the parts and if you look around get the best prices for each part. You don't pay over the top prices for pretty lights and logos (Alienware) and it is easily upgradeable in the future. There will most likely be much better airflow inside a desktop so your parts will last longer and you can invest in a decent heatsink or a water cooling system to keep your temperatures even lower.

I would recommend an alien ware gaming lap-top if your going to game a lot this is the laptop for you http://www.dell.com/us/p/alienware-m17x/pd it is also a great personnel computer etc. I have owned one my self and it works greats from playing the top graphics games to the simplest games like Mine-Craft, and on gta you can use max graphics with barley any lag.

Don't buy alienware, you're paying for the pretty lights and the logo. There are multiple other gaming laptop by brands such as HP and Asus which are much better value for money.

No way is alienware the only laptop that can run the game. I'm no longer talking about desktops. HP and Asus make laptops as well you know.

If you really want to buy the alienware laptop go for it. No ones stopping you, we are just suggesting better alternatives.

With that laptop you will be able to play with all settings on high, however you'll get about 23FPS.
