Frisking Suggestion

Featured Replies

I've noticed quite often whenever you frisk someone and you don't find anything but you are going to arrest them for lets say active warrants, after a frisk, instead of releasing the subject and then having to go back in and arrest them, an option should be added "Do you want to arrest this person?" Y = yes N = no. And to make things easier, if you do find something, have the game automatically arrest the subject.

I don't think if you find something it would be a good idea to automatically arrest them. For those of us that play more realistically: it's not always illegal to have a weapon also maybe you want to release someone of their own regoc. on a drugs charge.

Well, for those of us that play more realistically as you say, people still have different standards. Personally I play realistically following NYC laws, and it's stated the possession of firearms (pistol or long gun) needs a permit (and since we don't have the possibility to ask if the frisked person has a permit, we have to assume they don't, for the sake of public safety). Same would go for people playing with European police departments.

A weapon could also be a knife which is not illegal to carry (barring state blade limits, assisted open limits) but yes you bring up a good point for sure! I'm just saying it's nice for being able to customize gameplay if you can make the decision to arrest after having frisk them. Essentially, I think we're agreeing with each other if that makes sense.

LC laws forbid any and all weapons in the city limits, so whatever it is, an LC cop is here to arrest, lol

Anyway I agree that I wouldn't like to may auto-arrests. Sometimes I play dirty, taking money if I found drugs, or something else.

For the 70% of the gameplay I use the frisk function to stop multiple perps and have them lined up with hands on their heads. Just doesn't look right when they simply hand there while I'm searching their car.
