So I am trying to use KevinDV's amazing arjent though it is els v8 and I still use els v7. When I load the car the game crashes. What do I need to do to make it els v7 compatible?

Why do you use els v7?

It does not make a difference I use older lightbars and they work fine with els v8. I think you may have a different problem.

Trainer -> Car Options -> Fix the car.

 

Drive to the police station -> repair car.

 

One of the main improvements of ELS v8 was that cars could now get damaged, I don't see the point of sticking with ELS v7. But as stated, ELS v8 and v7 are pretty close, so the problem might be something else.

Bxbugs' CVPI is your issue. That thing is buggy as hell. I'd HIGHLY suggest using Cj24's Driver:SF CVPI.

to repair your car (With LCPDFR Installed) press the squiggly line "~" which should open the Command prompt, type in "heal"  this heals you and the car press the squiggly again to close it

Basically when you drive to a police station when on duty, there should be a colored arrow. You drive in it, the screen will go black for a second, and it'll repair your car. It was a feature added with the  1.0 I think.

This is a feature of LukeD's Callouts+, but that isn't the point of this topic.

 

Try installing the car without adding anything. If it crashed the game, then the car is the problem. Or you broke something when installing it.
