A very strange moment in Flight Simulator X.

Apart from the music, which sounds like a remixed fart, then not that much happened.

One of my finer moments in trolling history happened a month or so ago in SAMP, long story short, I stole the admins fire truck right in front of him, drove like a bat out of hell while spraying the admin with water, this took place on a "RolePlay" server, good times were had by all.

This is very rare that someone does this in FSX, usually it's general talk or Air Traffic Control so I thought I'd post this. :turned:

Ah, they're anal retentive when it comes to Roleplaying, that makes it all the more fun.

Back on topic though, I did enjoy that game once i purchased a 360 controller for windows.. It killed my last PC so I'm a bit nervous of installing it again.. never could do landings anyway

Lol, if you customise FSX's settings you can get it to run perfect, and with the landings all you need is practice. I've done over 800 landings in FSX since I am addicted to it. :happy:

I may have to fire it up again. I never ventured online because everyone was so "pro" and I kinda crashed into a convoy once when trying to land..

Join some free flight servers and practice in lighter aircraft first, I know that most people when they see the jets want to fly them first but it's easier to start in something like the Cessna, hell if you see me in the lobby add me and I'll help you out with your landings.

Hahahaha! I've created another Flight Simulator pilot. I love it, multiplayer is so much fun in FSX. Also, Harper, if you have the Acceleration expansion pack join the server "One World One Sky" if it's not locked (The host locks it sometimes to try and minimise annoying kids).

And yeah JAM, please do upload that. :thumbsup:

One question I've always wondered, Say I've got a mod installed.. let's say a car.. other members can still see it without installing it right?

I'm only asking because one mod description said "be fair to other players and keep it off the runways"

No they won't see it but FSX does something that no other game will do and that is to substitue the aircraft/car for something similar. For example you have a add-on A320, it would substitute it for an Airbus A321.

EDIT: However if they had the same add-on as you, they would be able to see it. A little warning though: Don't download to many add-on aircraft especially if you have Windows 7 as they can cause crashing issues in MP. If you do start crashing in MP and have Win 7, send me a PM as I have a fix for Win 7 crashing.

I love FSX, I still regret selling my copy along with my flight stick. Haven't got the money to buy it all again though. :sad:

That is a real shame that you sold it, I'm sure a good deal will come a long at some point. One company (Can't remember which one, sorry) was giving away "FSX Starter Packs" which Included FSX Gold Edition, a Joystick and one payware add-on of your choice (3 to pick from) for only $40 (American) the only thing was that you had to buy it online and wait for it to be shipped to you.

Yeah I'll have to keep my eyes peeled.

I once was landing with a 707 on a field out in the UK, but then I saw the freaking ATC tower in the center of the runway :facepalm:
