GTA Sites Community Competitors

Featured Replies

I have counted around 12 GTA community (s) sites and there are meany more, I own and gaming community site and how I can compete with others out there? Yes there are allot of competitors. LCPDFR and gta4-mods are already big, they get traffic in all the time (they worked hard). If you have not noticed or not that on most of the community sites have the same members that have joined other sites like LCPDFR   So that's not that new at all :turned:

What am I trying say that, what I can improve to bet other competitors, the benefit that I can stay open for 3 years as for LCPDFR well! that's our life time. as I speak there are more people building an gta community, and really we all can't survive.

This is going to be an interesting thread, so lets get talking

I'm not understanding what this means. Are you saying that competition between the GTA modding community websites is increasing, and we should try to support the growth of LCPDFR a.com is its to remain open?

Are you trying to say what can you improve on your website?

Why not? If you've got something unique then people will go to your site to download it. You just need to put some effort into creating unique content and advertising it in a way that doesn't involve spamming other websites.

The problem is a lot of the sites I see that are trying to compete are just rehashings of existing sites out there with no unique content. Or a complete rip of existing sites with very minimal theme changes.

The main problem with most of those website is the administration. They are absolutely unreliable in most cases, they're sometimes just shut down after a few months with no reason given at all. Often they involve people banned on other sites (mostly for a good reason) and not even moderators are able to act mature. But as soon as any website manages to grow a bit larger, someone starts attacking it, and it's not always like here on LCPDFR that the Admins have enough time and money to protect it.

For police mods, there's pretty much no alternative for LCPDFR. There're few other websites with good mods, but many with stolen or low quality stuff.

If your website's sole purpose is to be in competition with larger sites, you're doing it wrong. Your website should bring something special to the GTA modding table, like hosting unique mods.

Secondly, address things that need to be addressed. Don't bring in ten staff members to watch over your two normal members. Make sure they are useful, not only because they're your friends either.

So you want your site to be as big as LCPDFR.com and gta4mods.com?

unique, oh yeah my site is unique alright. I have an layout (theme) that most people have never seen before. I understand the rules of LCPDFR.com and I have my own rules as well, and I'm not here to spam links. That's true that they refrash of an existing site, and in my case Nooo, it's all new and more then just GTAIV.

most administration always think about what they want, don't of what members want or like to see. I'm not that administration that you are talking about, I think about other people before I do. Most staff on site are young teenagers, that's alright with me but depends on the high Knowledge. My staff have Knowledge on gaming and Knowledge on HTML, CSS and JS.

DDOS attack, all administration hates when that happens to there site, and I experience have that myself over the years. and we just have to be ready and keep enough money for protection.

special  alright, and the current mods are all my own mods that I have made. I don't have that meany staff, just one and they are very useful, but it's slow at the moment till that day when it picks up... that remains me that I gotta add an new mod that I made for the site, create and thread on the site about that

If any you guys are wanted anymore Information or wanted to check out the site It's under this line in my signature (I'm not advertising just support and that there are allot of GTA sites around)
