    What's funny about this is actually how important it is. 

     

    You might think it's a police officer just dancing/singing whatever, but community outreach is so damn important to Law Enforcement Agencies today, much more than ever in policing history. 

     

    The public is so skeptical of policing in recent years, with some communities outright denying to engage their local law enforcement and instead protest it. This makes the job of a Law Enforcement officer so difficult to protect and serve a community that refuses to recognize law and order. 

     

    These videos, as silly as they are, help win over the community. Now every law enforcement agency, big and small, engage the community through use of social media, which greatly helps people understand the job of a Law Enforcement officer. These outreach programs help engage the community to tell them why the police do what they do, and these small little videos can convince people that at the end of the day, cops are just ordinary people.
