Ashley Parkins prutii was arrested Friday after being accused of having a sexual relationship with three students, one of them being give. Oral sex and another was sent naked pictures.

Well I know that, what gets me about these situations is the double standard people have for this,

If it's a male student he's considered a 'lucky boy' but if it's a feamale student you get the 'send him to the chair' or 'how awful of him, he should be thrown in jail'. I swear I hate double standards.

IMO a teenage boy getting lucky is "morally" more acceptable in my book than some 35 yr old male teacher doing the same thing to a teenage girl. Also even if the teacher is a woman, they still get jail time so I don't see the double standard. Typically when it's a male teacher, they do more abusive s*** than the female teacher. Again just my opinion.

These laws are BS. Stat rape is "because are elders don't like it" . I doubt any of the students complained or actually pressed charges.

You don't see the double standard, I see it, you're probably looking at other news stories, I see it all the time, feamale teachers getting a slap on the wrist, you always get the age of consent arguments, but correct me if I'm wrong but I think the age of consent in the the UK is 16 years old, but the adult can still be arrested if done in a professional environment.

Despicable. Teachers are supposed to be a moral standpoint in a students life and set good examples.

Legal age is a something determined by the law. In my country it's sixteen but maybe lowered. Some have it at 18, some at 14, some cultures don't have such concept. So if it was up to me I'd look how abusive this experience was for minors, not just 'damn he's 15 give her 20 and a chair'

 

On the over hand I think a teacher is an example of respect and should never allow this to happen. 

It happens everywhere so IMO there's really no need for this thread. High school teachers make the mistake of sleeping with their students mainly because they want to be young again or they're just that good looking. Back onto the no need for this thread..It's mainly high school teachers that make this mistake but if it was a middle school teacher per say then I could see a use for this thread.
