Citation Costs

Is it possible to change the values for the citation (Ticket) costs?

40,60, and 100 seem really low for ticket costs. Red light tickets and other heavier traffic offenses can be over $500 dollars.

On a side note, I think it would be cool to have a ticket writing interface where the player could decide the ticket cost, have to add the drivers name and license number, etc. Good idea for future iterations of LCPDFR.

I agree.

Nope, there is not. But it's a good suggestion. I will move this topic to LCPDFR Suggestions instead.

Abraxas' PoliceHelper allows you to make a custom fine value, up to 1000, if I remeber it right

Does it override the current system implemented in LCPDFR or do you have to disable something of LCPDFR in order for this to work?

Nope, it's a separated app, you can issue fines with it. Of course, not in traffic stops, but nothing is barring you from ordering driver out, issuing him citation with PH, and let him move along.

I'd actually like this to be implemented, possibly something in the config file where you can change the entire citation cost like:

Cost 1: $40 (changeable value)

Cost 2: $60 (changeable value)

Cost 3: $100 (changeable value)

Or 4 costs could be added with the 4th being a custom cost

Cost 1: $40

Cost 2: $60
Cost 3: $100
Cost 4: -custom amount-

Plus adding it to LCPD:FR itself would be a lot better for people who don't use VDH Police Helper (like myself), Some people use the less amount of scripts possible for less crashes.

I think this is a wonderful idea, hopefully sam or jay will take a look at this idea and implement it into LCPDFR.

Another note is that those high ticket prices most of the time come from Court Costs. Sometimes the ticket is 125 but is 600 with court costs. I agree with the personal custom number, because GTA money is so much. Most of the time though, a ticket cannot be paid online and you have to go to court, especially for things like Super Speeder and other heavier traffic violations. Great idea.
