Pull over a car using sirens/lights/horn only?

Featured Replies

Hello, LCPDFR !

So, I have recently started watching more and more members of the Code 0 LCPDFR team. First i watched BayAreaBuggs (which i still watch), and now im also watching Jeff. However, I've seen some videos where they pull over a car using horn/sirens/lights only. (Like you would do when you press DEFAULT: SHIFT , and shout to them)

If anyone knows how to get this, It'd be appreciated, because afterall, i feel like it adds to the realism level.

Also, i heard that the spotlight mod for vehicles got removed, however, does anyone know a good replacer for it by any chance? Or was that the one and only mod that did it good?

Regards,

Xariez

Stay safe!

well press t for sirens only and obv j for lights then all you need to do is press shift.  hopefully thats what you were looking for.  not really sure what procedure your asking about beyond that.

If you set the key for Pull Over (SHIFT) to the same key as your lights, that would probably work.

Also, I believe Sniper296 made a police extras pack or something that has a spotlight. I'll look for that, too.

Also if you don't want the "pull over" speeches, you'll have to either mute your player or change his voice to a civilian (they don't have the megaphone speeches). If you want to use the siren, like on a manual mode, you should replace your airhorn sound with a very short siren sound (like 1/8 of the wail siren, otherwise it'll get messed up) and then you can pull people over with a siren sound too, not just the airhorn. If you use the actual siren, the stupid peds usually stand on the brakes and steer right out of your way.

I appreciate everyones replies alot! I'm actually extremely surprised (But also happy, so in a positive way) on how much help you can get over such a short time on a forum! :)

Muting my player completely would be kind of awkward when stopping someone or similar, so changing it to a pedestrians voice would probably fit better. However, I'm not sure how to change it correctly to get it this way.

I did know these ones and I'm in fact looking for the thing that Sgt.Kanyo said, But cheers for the help anyways! :)

in that case my guess is that getting rid of the speech or pulling ppl over is something they have tweaked with their lcpdfr settings for 1.0

I've modded my police voices to get rid of the pull over speech, but keep everything else. I can upload it for you if you want. However, I also got rid of some of the police voices that I found annoying (Like the one that sounds like Gilbert Godfried, etc) so there is that side effect to my modification.

I'd like that, I always hated pulling people over as the Trooper. Cursing at them and stuff, sometimes ruins the realism I go for sometimes.

Also, if you look at the very bottom of the ELS.ini there is an option that you can turn on to make peds (kind of) move out of the way, It should look like this, Lstg3LightsMoveTraf = on

Gotta keep it knockin' like a work boot in a dryer.

I rather like it, makes it more justified when I shoot them for resisting arrest (Even if they don't resist the arrest, I just like shooting stuff)

Having used this option sometimes I dont like it. When im doing simple traffic stops and everyone stops when I click the pull over key. Then they keep stopping when I finish driving up behind the car im pulling over. For responding to calls yes, but pulling over people on BKR-DUKES Expressway, no lol.

Alright, my modification just got approved. It removes all Pull over speech from LCPD officers.

Let me know if it works out for you.
