Hey everyone, just downloaded this mod yesterday, having a great time with it so far but I have a question.

Whenever I frisk someone by pressing E instead of Alt + R, I never find anything on them, and then if I try to frisk them using ALT + R, they pull a gun on me.

Is frisking bugged in RC2 or something? This never happened to me in RC1 or any of the other previous versions.

As I said earlier, I can literally frisk a ped and find "Nothing" on them, and two seconds later they'll pull a gun on me. Oh and firefly projects is usually where I frisk and stuff, cause of all the gang peds.

That's strange, as I almost always frisk with ALT+R and have found something, or haven't found something on them (usually after I arrest them of course.) As for the new way using the "E" button, I haven't really used it for much (as I use it more to hold suspects during car searches.)

I use it quite alot, usually during traffic stops or when I see gang peds.

So, you say that when you use "E", you don't find anything, but with "ALT+R" you find something, if I understood you correctly.

Do you have RAS or probable cause to search that ped? If not why are you frisking them? You may have a court battle later :devil:

Yes, thats it.

ill try reinstalling, ill edit my post later if it fixes it.

Edit : Fixed the problem, but it still barely works. The only thing ive found on someone before was a pistol ; and people still pull guns on me after ive frisked them and it said they had nothing.

Can't say I've had that issue before, partner. I would however consider not frisking people on traffic stops until this gets fixed for you. If I had to guess, they might have their own separate algorithm to determine whether or not they have a gun (which factors in to why the person might run or pull a gun on you when you walk up to their window) which may interfere with the normal frisk algorithm. You shouldn't be frisking people on traffic stops anyway. If they're have no warrants you either write them up or let them go, and if they have a warrant or no license, you should be taking them out at gun/taser point, not politely asking them to stop walking and put their hands on their head. I do miss frisking them after, but it breaks the handcuff animation, so I don't do it anymore.

EDIT: I can confirm this buggy frisking. I arrested a guy for fleeing and hit F11 to "leave" him because I wanted to frisk him. I frisked him with "E" I think. Came up clean. I pointed my taser at him to "re-arrest" him for transport and he produced a SHOTGUN! I tased him and he fell. When he got back up I hit "E" again and he dropped another gun (pistol) and surrendered. The guy had 2 guns on his person (1 was a shotgun) and the first frisk came back clean.

Glad im not the only one thats having this problem, ALT+R seems to find more things like stolen credit cards guns etc, but using E ive only found a gun once.

The frisking while arresting has caused me many crashes now. I am just not going to frisk people that I have arrested. I have no problem frisking people that I have not arrested but it is the ones in handcuffs I want to frisk!
