ENB or ICEENHANCER?

Featured Replies

hi all,

I've recently started looking at some graphics mods, and apparently there's 2 choices- Iceenhancer 3.0 or an ENB. my question here is, which one has the most realistic look without having ridiculous amounts of reflections and OTT lighting effects? I preferably want something that has a realistic look- making the night timecycle very dark, decent anti aliasing etc. Does anyone have any suggestions on this?

I'd prefer ENB, Iceenhancer is good, but i always get problems with it.

Same. Although, most Icenhancers are made for patch 1.0.3 (or something like that) and they look much better, but the patch itself is limiting.

I pretty much use CryENB (v1 or v2, mainly v1) and VisionENB. Both can be found on this site.

I'd just copy over a bunch of directories and install a bunch of different ENBs/iCEs to them to determine which you like the best. I have two directories, on one, CryENB V2 and on the other iCE 3.0. I constantly switch between them.

I tried Ice 3.0 and its ok, though the stock corona sirens on ambulances and cop cars are a bit screwed up when using it. Is Cryenb the one most people use?

I doubt it's the most used, but it's one of the nicer ones out there.

I would go for an ENB such as Cry or Prophet. Both make ELS look stunning and are not to heavy.

Are we talking about the same CryENB? Because the CryENB v2 in its default version gives very, very dull ELS, to me at least. Did you tweak the settings to make it look brighter with a better bloom?

Ahh you just reminded me, I use a friends private settings which makes ELS look brilliant. I use V1 with these edits.
