I was wondering if it's possible to set which vehicle will arrive when prisoner transport is requested?

 

I have the Met Police Batten-berg car pack and would like the transit vans to be the transport.

 

But I've noticed that the AI will arrive in either a police car OR a random civilian car. (not sure if this is a bug or not)

If you are using LCPDFR 1.0, open your main directory and click on the folder LCPDFR and open lcpdfr.ini. You should see if from there.

I'm not sure if i'm editing the file correctly but it doesn't seem to be working. My game just crashes when I ask for transport. 

 

The vehicle i want to use as transport is pstockade and nstockade.

 

is this how it's meant to be edited

Can you do patrols in the game in the NStockade and Pstockade vehicles? Can you select them in the vehicle selection part and drive them around the city without any problems? If not, it might be down to your GTA IV not liking those models. I have this problem where my game crashes if I have Yakadafi's Yukon installed, usually when I try to spawn it, so it may be that you can't use those models in your game because GTA IV is weird.

I can drive around in these vehicles perfectly fine, its just when i set them as the transport it crashes

I've reset the file back to the default, but still cops show up in an oracle.

The default is set to

SuspectTransporterModels=POLICE;POLICE2;

There's something generally wrong. Orcale, or any other vehicle other than POLICE & POLICE2 (which is what it's set to), should not be used for suspect transport.

 

Try reinstalling LCPDFR (don't forget to also remove any LCPDFR API addons too).

Also, is your POLICE & / or POLICE2 slots modded vehicles?  Could explain it, if both are modded vehicles  & your PC / GTA:IV can't handle it, then it might be spawning some random vehicle instead.

My POLICE & POLICE2 are both modded, but they work perfectly fine as i see them both driving around. I'll reinstall LCPDFR to see if that fixes anything.

you need a space after the e in Nstockade and after the semicolon sign, also not sure but you may need a 3rd model

I had the exact problem. Default Police;Police2;Pstockade work fine but anything other than these would crash. I ended up installing my prisoner transport model in pstockade even though I didn't want to.
