Hi everyone!

I have installed LCPDFR but whenever I play GTA IV and press ALT+P, nothing happens. The screen blurs a little but I press P again and it goes back to normal.

I have made sure it was installed correctly, I checked to make sure that I downloaded everything I needed to, and I made sure everything was in the folder and place it had to be in. I first downloaded the 0.95 lcpdfr mod and now I tried the 0.91 mod but neither worked. I have looked in other forums but nothing suggested helped.

I tried to download the latest GTA IV patch ( 1.0.7.0) but when I double clicked the patch on my downloads folder, I found a folder with installers that didn't work. I thought if I put the folder in the GTA IV root folder it might work but when I opened GTA IV, lcpdfr still didn't work.

I even downloaded the G 17 Media Diagnostics and it said everything was ok except that the RAM was not supported. I don't understand what it means by that. I checked and my ram passes the minimum requirements. The game plays just fine and it doesn't lag at all so I don't understand what is going on.

I am new to modding and I don't have a clue what could be going on. I specifically bought GTA IV for pc so I could download LCPDFR. Help is greatly appreciated and thanks in advanced!

Make sure you use a programme to extract the patch; it's zipped. Extract it anywhere you like, then double click on it. It will have "setup" in the name or something similar, I can't remember exactly. Install the links that Break gave you above and try again. I was having the same problem as you, but when I installed the patch it worked.

Yeah you need to patch your game. LCPDFR is designed to work with 1.0.7.0; you're running 1.0.0.0

I finally got lcpdfr to work! I just downloaded the latest patch, extracted the patch, then installed it like all of you told me too. I'm very excited for I have been waiting to try out this mod for quite some time. Thanks to everybody who helped!

i have the same problum i was using police pursuit mod and seen this was better anyways so i freshly installed the game because i didnt back up my files ( dumb ) but i installed it i got .net frame work and all that but when i load it up it doesnt work i always got patch 1.0.7.0 , i know u want the diagnostic tool but where is that to be found ?
