traffic stop suggestion

Featured Replies

Hello guys, I was looking at some police videos and thought of a wonderful idea for lcpdfr. While doing a traffic stop you find a guy with warrants or a warrant, or just want to frisk him for suspicion, He refuses to get out of the car, you radio to dispatch for a unit refusing to get out of the car, after this a backup unit arrives to aid you in traffic stop.

To be honest, i was thinking of the same idea. it's realistic and normal for an officer to call for an additional unit to assist at a traffic stop (especially if he is patrolling on his own) i would like to see this added.

Maybe you call for an addition unit, they spawn a little bit behind you, drive down and park in front of the stopped car (suspects car), they get out and wait by their car. if the suspect/stopped person starts to shoot then obviously the additional unit will shoot.

maybe also add a command for them to leave if you no longer require their assistance and when the traffic stop is over.

If you want to me reply as soon as possible, then either quote or @CouthInk4  me as i'll be notified, a general reply will not notify me

Why didn't I think of this before?

I only worry of how neatly the AI cop will stop in front of the suspect, lel.

Good idea

It's possible to make this happen. But requires the same amount of complex code to get the police car to pull over like the traffic stop, and then double it to correctly get it to pull in front of the suspect rather than at a random point and eliminate the chance it hits you or the suspect.

You then have to take into account all the different factors like what road you're on, which side the suspect went to, is there any random parked cars there etc etc.

I'm not saying nobody would consider it, just that it's a lot of effort.

The refusal would be cool.

When i have a wanted party/vehicle i always just hit alt+b for backup and it sends a two unit car to my location. If there is a car load of people or somebody starts firing at me i'll hit alt+n for noose backup.
