@Ringo, that happens when you use .JPEG images, it's best to just ignore those or convert the image to a PNG ;)

EDIT: Using PNG images and IPB is still being stubborn, it even erases the images for me! :wallbash:

Works now :teehee:

I think the LVMPDis part police and part sheriff office.....I think I saw the "chief" of police at a news conference and his title was Sheriff ofthe LVMPD.

http://www.lvmpd.com/   and    http://www.lvmpd.com/AboutLVMPD/OfficeoftheSheriff/SheriffDouglasCGillespie/tabid/305/Default.aspx

Yep the chief of police is called the Sheriff there...I guess they have two divisions...the Metro dept, and the Sheriff Dept. But I don't know for sure...we need a answer from someone from Las Vegas. LOL

It's called the Metropolitan Police for a reason. It was the result of a 1970s merger of the Las Vegas Police Department and the Clark County Sheriff's Office. In essence, LVMPD is the Clark County Sheriff, and has authority over the entire county, in a single agency. There is no separation in what LVMPD does.

North Las Vegas PD works only the "City of North Las Vegas" which is relatively small. I live in Summerlin -- which is way up northwest -- and Metro has a precinct nearby.

They also work Pahrump, which is pretty far away from Las Vegas, and sometimes assists with Bullhead City -- way down south.

It's funny how I look at all these other fire departments and see all these awesome LEDS like a whelen freedom as a lightbar, ect.

Then I look at my department with all the slow halogen rotating lights.... Least we have real q sirens that're loud as hell and sound awesome.

Pics are in the spoiler so it does not take up so much page space.

Rockwood, TN.. (Small place inside of Roane County) they still use old cars and they're dumb enough to keep the undercovers parked infront of the station.

Here's photos I've taken of my locals:

West Mercia Police - New Vauxhall Astra estate on shout in Worcester (West Mercia Police cover Worcestershire, Herefordshire & Shropshire, for which I live in)

Hereford & Worcester Fire & Rescue Service - Scania on shout from Worcester Fire Station:

(Hereford & Worcester Fire & Rescue Service cover the two counties of Herefordshire & Worcestershire, for which I live in)

West Midlands Ambulance Service - BMW Motorcycle Paramedic - Steve Harris (Forrest) at New St Station, Birmingham. Seen on the show Emergency Bikers.

(West Midlands Ambulance Service covers the West Midlands region, for which I am in)

Midlands Air Ambulance - Landing at Birmingham Children's Hospital as West Midlands Police close the road. (Midlands Air Ambulance covers the region of the Midlands, for which I am in)

And all-though I don't live in their area, they're very near to where I live and travel into their area regularly, but I love this photo I took:

West Midlands Police - Unmarked BMW 330d on shout, a few seconds before an Audi A6 from CMPG. Birmingham (West Midlands Police cover the county of the West Midlands, for which I live near too. Not to get confused with the region of the West Midlands, which I live in.

New York State Police has been upgrading, and changing from the blue livery to black.

Edit: After further reading from curiosity, it turns out that the black may just be for these test vehicles since it was the standard color. Apparently the bulk order of new cars was made in the normal blue color. It does make sense since these cars have "H" designated as the troop, meaning it's a car from headquarters being rotated around different troops for testing.

We just received our new ambulances, with new lightbars: I saw the ambulances on the shop 3 days ago, and they are already on service:

Here is the previous lighting equipment we used to have:
